The Huawei bandwagon is huge within the gsmarena team. That “breakthrough” wi-fi + 4g(lte) is something the Galaxy S5 had a few years ago. Also, it is network dependant, meaning it needs for the mobile operator to allow the use of both at a time and it’s something which comes with a lot of security vulnerabilities.
But no biggie, keep carrying on with the Huawei bandwagoning.

I have the HV10 and this looks like another great phone with the latest chipset at a fraction to the Mate 20 price.
Two things I don't like on the HV10 though are that it has not OIS and videos do suffer, and the screen is not Gorilla glass and comes with protector already on it in the box.
I would pay a bit more for both these features.

LG Superfan, 10 Dec 2018Imo they should use a wide angle or telephoto lens too caus... moreA phone should have only one camera in the range 24-32mm (ff equiv), 20mpx maximum, even with large sensors (they aren't large compared to cameras), so you can take convenient pictures when you have to. For wide angle, zoom, a lot of mpx, a camera is what you need.
PS: I didn't see the quad filter in the article, so it can shoot 12mpx pictures with better quality. Then it's the perfect camera setup as long it does well in practice. Oh, but the screen corners are too rounded, Poco-like.
PPS: The samples don't look that good, a lot of blotchiness, artifacts, even in the 12mpx setting. Maybe the post-processing, which is always a disastrous one at Huawei/Honor.

Do you constantly notice the rear view mirror or screen stickers when driving? Once the brain is used to them, they fade out except when wanted.

Imo they should use a wide angle or telephoto lens too cause no single camera can do wide angle or optical zoom no matter how good it is

But i quiet surprise that Poco can get a really really great camera quality after using the Pixel's camera apk.

It's a midranger, so camera quality was never going to be the best. Samples look decent though, as long as you keep your expectations within reason.
Also, a 40+ MP camera in this price range is a rarity as of yet, so the inclusion of that alone is worthy of appreciation.
I can't wait to see what camera setup the flagship P30 Pro will use.

Well no surprise, as expected the camera is decidedly rubbish. More intelligent and sensible engineering+marketing teams over at Google are right to mock these clowns putting out double, triple. quad cameras with high pixel counts "because marketing". One good camera setup with large sensor, quality lens, wide aperture, smart post-processing etc is all you need to do great photography.
