I was wrong about the Google Pixel 3

Revisiting my expectations back from October in light of my first-hand experience now.

It's not very noticeable difference but it's there, so more comfortable or not is up to the user to decide, but the Xs IS more compact than the Pixel 3. But as another user said, I wouldn't call the Pixel 3 or the iPhone Xs compact at all (unfortunately that's a dead category nowadays, to my loss because I hate big phones). At least they're more both more compact than 99.9% of other phones nowadays, but still I wish they had both released smaller versions.

    If I have to choose between the latest updates and the SD card slot, I'm definitely choosing the second one.
    I can always root my phone and install whatever android version I want.
    Sorry Fuggle, I'm never going to buy one of your phones until you add the SD card slot. Not everyone is a blind fb sheep that will only play silly games and post selfies all day long. Some of us are heavy power users.

                  Pixel 3 = LG panel
                  LG make incredibly shoddily put together panels, including the non BOE ones on the Mate 20 Pro with the LG ones suffering from Gluegate, BOE made panels are fine.
                  Moral of the story..? I stay away from LG panels and any phone that uses them.

                                    What are you talking about?! How can you like this FUGLY NOTCH on Pixel 3 XL?! It's so intrusive & blocks content!!

                                      The black crush and dark muddled midtones of the LG-made OLED killed this phone for me. I went back to the regular Pixel 2 which has better tones from dark to light and more accurate colors.

                                      I hope GSMArena will consider adding black crush in their OLED ratings since so many phones are seemingly getting worse (the S9 screen is said to be worse than S8, for example).

                                        The Pixel 3 more compact than the iPhone Xs? Really? I've tried both and ended up buying the iPhone, among other things, because it's more compact. A tiny bit wider and heavier yes, but thinner and notably shorter too.
