But they clearly seem to have taken chipset into consideration as well, can't blame them for that. But it's still the best bang for buck, no matter the polls.

But with a FINE PRINT. ... moreLemme explain to you in terms of sports example, a 14 year old kid can play tennis in under 15 or under 17 or under 19 if he wants and up for it but a 18 year old has to play only under 19, he cannot play in other 2 categories..... similar logic here as well, a LOWER priced phone can be part of higher price range bracket if the phone packs the punch but a premium priced half baked phone cannot be part of the lower brackets (since barring the chipset, it compromises on everything but price)....

Sadly for you, people don't agree for any of the iPhones to be best in any of the categories. It's not hate, it's growing awareness that with that kind of money, glaring omissions such as SD slot or Headphone jack or fingerprint reader won't be ignored just because the logo on the back and All of which are provided by note 9.

Well I love the comments section more than the actual results after they have been declared, it's good to see people loyal to brand and defend what they had paid for
Reality is now a days there isn't any thing absolute or best for sure, as far as apple or iPhones are concerned so they are in different league or batch because there isn't any other option for iPhone users if they want to use iOS, I can't explain it properly but thing is iphones are matter of eco system if you want to use iOS then you have to get iPhone and that's all
Now getting back to topic this pole seems to be pretty relevant because
NOTE 9 is not best at what it does individually but it does almost every thing in a very good manner
Now it's your own preference if you want big mobile with reputable brand then I guess note 9 is pound to pound best option and you know why it won because of following
Great Amoled Display
Good FPS on back atleast they heard the spectators and moved it to centre even though it's tiny and bit stretched to upper portion of mobile
Freedom of regular widely available memory storage ( Huawei Nano cards are for now isn't practice solution)
Enough base storage with Ram ( watch it Google)
I guess cheapest flagship with 512gb option (Apple is way too expensive when comes to 512gb option) and I am talking about brand please don't mention any other OEM Because no matter what every OEM rather try to be apople or want to beat Samsung in this regard they are wanna be
8 GB option is also easily available with that above mentioned ROM (mate 20 pro isn't yet available with its higher tier option in our region for now I.e with 8 gigs or ram and 256 gigs of storage which will make it expensive then Note 9)
Head phone jack now that's some thing Samsung did really right and I guess that it's the last one because from next year may be they will also jump in no headphone jack band wagon
No Notch means they sticked to original form factor, unlike other manufacturers who introduced notches with any idea that why apple implemented it, and sacrificed one of thing that android does better and that's notifications
4000 mAH battery now it's not the best but still it's more than enough for may people, and they had actually included a bit faster charger out of the box, again it's not fastest but still serves better than crap apple give you in there reatail package
And last but not the least since Note 2 every every every OEM tried there best to answer Samsung S Pen but they failed miserably because it's not about bigger screen and then touching it with stylus it's the software twerks and perks that make S Pen atleast usable and Samsung always try to bring new feeds every year with S Pen
Now I guess you all got served for your rants and trolls
Note 9 is the one mobile that checks almost every box and if you want me to post problems with other Nominees then I can post too including Note 9s but thing is
Note 9 is Jack of All and Master of none.

Pixel 3 XL = 2XL with a garbage notch, wireless charging, WORSE battery, down-clocked processor, better resolution, still no headphone jack, 4GB of RAM, wide-angle/telephoto lens, and no microSD slot for almost the price of the Note.
LG V35 = worse battery life than its predecessor and other than more RAM, no different from the V30.
LG V40 = EVEN WORSE battery life (with better yet soft resolution than its predecessor), no stereo speakers, and reliving the definition of insanity by putting the same Goddang battery as the V30 and V35.
HTC U12+ = not-so-great display (power-hungry with no good sunlight legibility), not so great battery (I heard the August update helped it a ton but unsure), and no wireless charging). Also lack of availability doesn't help. I really rooted for this phone...
Sony XZ2 Premium/XZ3 = These phones would've been close to fantastic but their batteries weren't strong enough on the endurance scale. Also, their cameras are great but the XZ3 should have had that monochrome sensor. Thankfully the XZ4 may fix some of these things including the bigger battery and putting the fingerprint sensor on the side. Just hope the price isn't ridiculous.
OnePlus 6 = no stereo speakers, no microSD card slot, bad battery, useless secondary camera, and garbage notch. I'll give them credit for the software and RAM but that's about it.
OnePlus 6T = better but still no microSD slot, no headphone jack, no stereo speakers, and still with the same useless secondary camera.
Then there are phones from AGM, Meizu, Xiaomi, Ulefone, Doogee, and Umidigi that need to be more available outside of Europe or else, there aren't many choices.
Thanks to the notch, this year certainly has stunk for phones.

Sorry Huawei fans. Time to accept price isn't everything and not everyone is obsessed with the cheapest wannabe brand.
I'd rather pay more and get the best, rather than less and be cheated, spied, have my data and biometrics stolen.
Only Japanese or Korean (without LG) tech for me.
