There can only be one Best Flagship of 2018, it's time to decide. Same for the mid-range and entry-level categories.

They CAN put cheaper phone to higher bracket but CANNOT put slightly expensive xr phone to lower bracket. Does prices matter or not?

          Phone with curved screen is useless phone. Nothing worse than s8+ I was forced to work with one year. Happily went back to note 4. Not as powerful, but way more useful, easy to handle and much less screen burn in. I know note 9 is not s8+, but wouldn't risk it...

            Sad to see the Mate 20 Pro losing solely because Samsung fans outnumber pretty much any other company.

            Very boring picks overall, honestly. Especially the entry level segment (then again none of those phones were good picks)

                Not surprised. The flagships this year were mostly disappointing. The only logical choice was the Note.

                  I thought Realme 2 pro will be the best entry level smartphone based on specs

                    This is unfair for the pocophone, how you will compare a 300$ to phones that cost atleast 200$ more? pocophone it's a midrange phone all the way, it's not competence to a 800$ note 9, but for the nokia 8.1 for sure it's direct rival.

                      Pixel 3 is the best 2018 flagship FOR me. Will age better than the Note9.

                          Just to show the other guy who keeps bashing blindly without having any knowledge about the phone. As i said its one of the sample i provided.

                            I mean, I like to debate and discuss stuff too. But the mood here, omg... Guys, calm your balls down and chill.
                            This year, a LOT of great phones came out. Be thankful it just got more interesting.

                            While I do not think it is the best phone for now, it was the MOST INNOVATING one: Huawei P20 Pro
                            The first with 40MP-camera and with such a good low light performance.

                            And I also think P20 Pro and Mate 20 Pro still do better low light pictures than Pixel 3, because Night Sight is not even close to reality. It's not showing the true scene of the moment when the picture was taken.

                            @pocophone-owners: calm down and enjoy your phone. you got probably best bang for back-phone. but don't call it flagship or stop bashing other great mid rangers.

                                It doesn't matter what the result was.
                                You can deduce it however you want, that's up to you.

                                      Mate 20 pro is a great phone and I'm sure that he want regret getting it the only thing that it lacks against note 9 is s pen but it has leica cameras (the most versatile cameras in a phone ) a feature rich softwate (but not the snappiest one ) in display fingerprint sensor and a great design
                                      And this is not made by teck experts it is just fan favorite you can just see that nokia 8.1 was the best midrange but it lacks a lot against the competetion
                                      Note 9 is not way better we can't even say better evey phone has its pros and cons and both these phones are great
