From the descriptions, I'd pick Huawei, mostly because of the better GPU. But the phones seem quite close, so if I tried them both in person, maybe my answer would change.

And the reason huawei/honor no longer let users unlock bootloaders is another hand down for nova 4.(i forget to mention that in nova 4's cons)
After all both seems to be good devices.
Also those were all my ideas and i'm in no way speaking on behalf of all other here or anywhere else!

Here's an idea for symmetry's sake:
Punch another hole in the screen on the other side and use it for the headphone jack!
Make a small bump on the back to fit the jack as well... that would be unique *thumbs up*

You forgot an important thing... Samsung screen camera hole is much bigger and VERY distracting. Huawei's is OK in comparison
