I'm not talking about the networking components that they've been implementing around the world, pretty sure the mobile division is separate as most companies do.

The point here is... moreI own Honor 8 pro, Huawei Mate 10 pro, my wife using Huawei Mate 9. Now both me and my wife use Mate 20. Do i feel they lie? Not at all.
Oh yeah we both came from Sony Xperia flagship phone, best decision ever made switch to Huawei. But i'll hold my judgement later on the next XZ4.

I do hope one of the major players pick up the dual display idea cuz that is the best solution to a near bezeless front so far. Only negative I see no wireless charging which isn't a biggie imo.

Follow the rumour mill and pa... moreIt was only natural that somebody would come up with an idea of having a display hole after so many manufacturers moved onto teardrop notch from iPhone-esque notch. It's not the same as "I patented this tech 2 years ago so you're copying me" crap that other phone manufacturers like to use. Huawei patented first, Samsung then wanted to do something similar but they couldn't create the hole on the centre because of the patent so they moved it to the left. To be fair though Nova 4 has a hole on the left as well, instead of the centre, so that makes it even at this point.
Also, do you remember how Samsung tried to make it look like they'd developed Essential-Phone-styled notch by calling it "Infinity U Display"? Apple is quite known for dubious marketing, but Samsung isn't always completely honest to the consumer either.
