Mr Magma, 31 Dec 2018I just realized I replied to the wrong comment before lol. ... moreAs far as i look the leaks, seems like XZ4 will use the same Ambient Flow design. They've used its Uniffied Design (Surface Loop) for 4 generations since X until XZ1, so maybe the same with Ambient Flow.

Either 16:9 or 21:9 (anything in between is half-baked).
XZ2 Premium has 16:9 and XZ4 has 21:9.

Sony Xperia XZ4, alias ... THE GIRAFFE.
Without audio jack easier for me, one less in the list of buys for my next phone. Looking for other models at CES next week.

My next Xperia, Sony starting to comming back !
I think 21:9 at least a standard compared to 18:9 .
I think maybe it's the premium version of xz3 and not xz4 ?it will be cool to sea 4k screen with oled !

The recent models of almost all phone brands are uglier than from just a couple years ago. Too big, tall and narrow displays, notches, edge displays, no front or side fingerprintscanners and too freaking expensive. HTC One M8, Xperia Z3 (Compact), Galaxy S4, iPhone 6 those were all phones which were perfect size imo. I don't mind bezels at all if the dimensions of the phone aren't too big. I own an iPhone 8 since launch day and plan on keeping it for a couple more years for the reasons I stated above.

I would rather back... moreI just realized I replied to the wrong comment before lol. I also like the old 16:9 aspect ratio but is dying. If the xz4 premium doesn't come with it I don't think we'll see a phone with 16:9 screen again.
Honestly, as an old Sony / Sony Ericson fan it bothers me they changed the classy design of the XZ Premium to the heavy, chunky and slippery xz2 premium. Now the xz3 looks good, 18:9 oled display, not as thick as the xz2, why not upgrade the features and add a bigger battery? No, let's change the design again because reasons :\ smh.

This could be a game changer for Sony. Media centric 21:9 screen, nice thin bezels without notch, Triple camera, (Main sensor rumored a bigger sensor will be used, along with OIS). Top notch i say. Now if only they pricing it right this time, & headphone jack will be a plus.

It would have less area than xz3 in the end..

No good, if the regular XZ4 will be that huge, and probably the Premium will be that huge as well, and what will happen with people who does not want a brick, yet the Compact is too small? Come on dear Sony, if you are reading my comment, please make phones with 5.8-6.0 inches, and make the Premium larger, if you will do this, you will make more profit that is for sure.

At least, i hope it has same height with its predecessor so it would be more narrow.
But maybe not, they would keep on the same screen diagonal.
