AnonD-762416, 07 Jan 2019Seriously? You can't remember what you've said a few hours ... morehow about you take whole statement in account , it's pretty obvious there I was referring to phones and I mentioned highest refresh rate OLED phone ( ROG phone 90hz ) so do you know any that has higher refresh rate and that is OLED ?

Anonymous, 07 Jan 2019As always with Sony, it will probably be the ugliest phone ... moreUm, this has no notch. That immediately makes it better looking than any of the notch/hole in the display phones out there.

Yousef1, 06 Jan 2019Who told you I will buy it ! Even if it's for free i can't ... moreI see it very usable. I will be luckiest if I get one for free.

Admit it - with the exception of Sony, everyone makes phones that look pretty much identical.

The premium feel disappears when you put a case in it and the cameras aren't that different.

As always with Sony, it will probably be the ugliest phone on the market, competing for the title with Pixel 3 XL.

Good for watching movies, but again people will ignore it because it is just to tall, will be nightmare to carry it in tight jeans pocket. I have a feeling it will be a same flop as with xz premium 4k screens

CristianEW, 07 Jan 2019where did I state I am fan of either tech ? lol don't jump ... moreSeriously? You can't remember what you've said a few hours ago?
                      Here is your LIE:

"...is not possible for OLED even to hit 120Hz yet 240Hz that is so laughable..."

Own it instead of deflect, please! OLED is the only display type that can reach 100,000 Hz. There is no OLED lag as there is no "mechanical" function like what LCD panels has to deal with. That is the only reason OLED doesn't have to use ridiculous battery-destroying frame rates.

jamesschwarz987, 06 Jan 2019Yes, because 120hz screen means it's its the screen's peak ... morewhere did I state I am fan of either tech ? lol don't jump to conclusions .. my original post was how 240hz OLED is highly unlikely to happen soon... and you just repeated and confirmed what I said that LCD handle higher refresh rates way better compared to OLED

AnonD-762416, 06 Jan 2019I responded to your lie that OLED displays can't handle ove... morethen quote where I said they can't ? sure they can ! there are OLED 120hz TVs and monitors but it's way harder to get high refresh rate on OLED compared to LCD . that much is a fact and it's gonna stay that way for some time .

do we really need it or not is completely different argument .

Anonymous, 06 Jan 2019Yeah, The root is good, The tree is ok, But the fruit is... moreRight, and instead of actually trying to fix the problem, let's just curse it with words and hope for it to change. Smart!

XZ2 has the widest colour gamut among all devices.. Just check colour chart of Phone Arena.

Triluminos is Quantum Dots. Used to make gamut much wider. Same thing Samsung does to their TVs and call QLED ( most ppl does not know it is still LCD).

It is not fair to pay for 128 or 256 when you need half of it.

I buy flagship because it has better build, audio, screen , connection and software support compared to midranges.
But a phone with 32GB is more than I need. I have tablet, no need to keep all my apps on my phone
