Samsung, Google, and others were alseep at the wheel when Apple developed the iphone and the ipad. When sales took off all they could do is copy Apple because they did not have the balls to do anything different themselves. Now they are crying wolf, when the entire issue is of their doing in the first place. Samsung are now spending billions in buying market share will slim margins after a belated challenge to Apple and Apple have been stupid to just focus on premium products. It is a very risky strategy for Samsung in particular but has market traction. The joke is Samsung risks leakage of customers to Apple if Apple does in fact produce a better product range.

I believe the nexus is a 4g phone which automatically puts it in a higher class. The screen size is larger. I believe it has facial recognition, dlna, and nfc on a 4.7 inch screen compared to the 3.5 in iphone 4s. The iphone has siri and 8 mp camera. But did i mention the nexus is 4g.

Apple's had this habbit of trying to bully other relatively smaller companies for a long time. They did this twice to samsung and now motorola is rising again, they see them as potential threat. Since they couldn't do anything to Samsung this time.

doriandun, 11 Dec 2011funny, how alot of comments on here, have little understand... more2 year contracts have existed in the US for over 15 years. 2 year contracts are only new to europe where carriers are now moving past pre-pay. I dont think we can blame apple for over-charging, we just have tollaugh at the people who wait in line to be over-charged by apple. Apple has successfully figured out how'to market its devices and create a cult of people who are willing to carry a device that is the exact same thing as their friend's where most people want some originality or to stand apart, Apple offers no choice and tells consumers that is whats best. What I dont understand is whay a company that cant even make a 4g phone and patents rectangles and copies GPRS from motorola is considered "innovative."

Example SonyEricsson has been innovative and not been sued, they have not been very successful because people want iPhone copies.
Motorola is using FRAND based patents in an anticompetitive and discriminatory manner, the EU should step in and fine them for going against the spirit of standards.

Well as an apple user I have to say this sucks but overall guys with moto beein now google proprieti its gonna make androi moto runner trust me ios vs android in the end will be google vs apple you guys are happy that apple might lose well i hope you will be as happy as you are now when android will run better on motorola and when moto will take over android phones cuz trust me google guys are smart cery smart made android gain fans and now lunch there own phone ofc named moto or made with motorola emblem
