Motorola wins injunction against Apple in Germany, again

09 December, 2011
They can enforce it (maybe), but it's a complicated path that carries risk. The court case is far from over too.

Yippee!! Two bits of good news about Apple in less than a week. May there be many more to follow. It utterly and totally serves them right! With any luck they will go bust. We can but dream I suppose!

Steve Jobs hated Android. I bet he did, as he could not bully them to be a totally locked down environment like his. He clearly despied end user freedom and Apple are clearly trying to crush anyone who doesn't hate and try to stop users freedom. The bully has at last got it's payback and may there be more to follow.

AnonD-21321, 09 Dec 2011''Apple has been having a lot of legal headaches lately '' ... moreYeah. Apple shurelu has been paying lots of money for using patented tecnology without permission. Like not so long ago they gave Nokia hundreds of miljons for braking their batents. Apple shure is an odd company. They think they can save biljons by not payng and keeping it as a secret and get away with it.

well if anyone should sue motorola actually invented the mobile phone. so all companies have actually copied the idea of a mobile phone.

so if you want the actual truth everyone is in breach of copyright. from motorola.

its just stupid tit for tat. when will it stop. it will be the consumer who will lose as one day there will no phones to buy do to everyone putting a block on sales.

The problem is that Apple had opened Pandora's Box with this kind of lawsuit. Back in time this kind of problems were resolved quietly and everyone was happy. But no, they wanted more. And more of a problem, no one is innocent. They all have "borrowed" ideas one from another, it's normal it's EVOLUTION. Even Apple, even Samsung and Huawei or any other company. And they had solved thei issues quietly.
Butt Apple has chosen another way..and now is reciveing the payback. I'm pretty sure this is the top of iceberg. And i'm quite happy because maybe, just maybe they'll learn their lesson. They are supported by US (The US Patent site is Apple sofware optimized, for example )and they think that cand do whatever they want around the globe. But they are wrong..because this thing had turned against them..the world has reacted. You've seen, for example, now in China, iPads will not be allowed to be sold under their name because someone else has the trademark for iPad. And so on...
And who's losing? us..the consumers. Because we like different devices, suited to our needs. Some of us like HTC (like me), others like Apple or Samsung or Nokia..and it's ok. I'm not a US citizen so Apple it's not intresting to me ( SIRI is not optimized for my country or for the most of Europe, for example, also i have a Windows based computer and not Apple so i tunes and other Apple facilities and applications requires to much of an effort to me to be optimized...and so on ). On the other hand, for a big part of US citizens Apple is a big part of their life. So imagine me being forced to buy just Apple products or US citizens not having acces to Apple technology...that's just stupid.
All those patent wars have to end or we'll end up nowhere ( same like a nuke war..none will really win it)...
I hope that everyone will learn their lessons from this...but i'm afraid that's just silly hopes...

So Apple wants to invalidate a patent on GPRS technology while they sue everyone else for their patents on rectangles and rounded corners. Which patents sounds more valid?

im sorry but what the hell? this has very little to do with a large amount of you.

it only affects you if you have an iphone, and iphone users are completely innocent of what apple is doing/has done.

so why are you pushing to penalise innocent users such as myself?

                  try getting a life yeah?

After losing to Nokia GSM patent war and paying a ton of money + royalties, here comes GPRS patent war....

I doubt Apple has anything to do with GPRS tech so they are bound to lose another one.

Seems like Apple are losers when it comes to technology patents.

I really hope that every manufacturer out there beats Crapple in court so that crapple will have to sell its mobile division to a more capable manufacturer.Crapple needs to stick to PC's. And will bring better and cheaper products to the market.

Crapple stole and bought allot of ideeas, patents and called it theyre own . Its retarded that they are alloed to even proceed this far as suing other companies for patents that were originally theyrse.
