I think people complaining about samsung being always late on Android updates should really think this through, most of the new android features have been on samsung phones for months before android adapt them into android core build.

Samsung LG etc all had ... moreWow, there are a lot of missconceptions right here, but i am not gonna argue too much, i'll stop at: nope, you are not right. As for windows 10 mallware? Yoi mean spayware? Probably... but that is also not even close to reality, if that was to be true, then, well, android is the NSA lab. It has so manny privacy issues, i had to think for a long period if i will ever going to buy one. Further in the future, my lumia 950 xl broke and yep, no devices to buy. Took me a roughtly 60 Mounths to consider an android i have reseached everywhere i found informations about tge system and how heavy it is at traking your moves and stealing your data. Let's just say i found too many. Luckly Nokia 8 came along with no other traking apps outside google. Well, one point to start with the NSA lab. Deactivate all google crapp and voila, a bit better. Install glasswire and monitor who's outta gate. Install neguard and block everything suspicios. Eh, the device is now usable. So nope, windows phone was not even close to what android is when it comes to spying, the missconceptions came from m' like youtube reviewrs who pribably got payd to put the system down, or were to dumb to know the system in there phones is way more invasive, just that google does not tell you in your face, like ms did.

Nobody is copyi... moreWell , that's a part of the deal , manufacturers that use android and make new features let Google implement those features on their official updates . I'm sure that if you search a bit about this you realise that at least half of the features that stock android offers has them from LG , Samsung , Sony etc. As for the night mode was an earlier idea from a few years ago to make it however never made it in any official build , so practically Samsung is the first one to implement it , as far as I'm aware there is no other brand that has this option at the moment.

As far as I remember night mode was available.in Nougat beta, Oreo beta, Pie beta but never made it to final build.hope this changes with Q
