aloricx, 19 Jan 2019and you base this conclusion on what?Common sense.

Especially when posts mysteriously vanish on forums and comments on very known android websites.

Whackcar, 19 Jan 2019I've compared the samples of P20 Pro & Mate 20 Pro. IMO... moreI have also compared them, according to you.

When Nokia 9 Pureview comes to Doxmark it will score maybe 200 :-)

I've compared the samples of P20 Pro & Mate 20 Pro. IMO P20 Pro is better at images & Mate 20 Pro is better at videos.

P20 Pro's images are sharper and more pleasing to the eye. Also colors are more saturated which the majority of users prefer over the more accurate colors of the Mate 20 Pro.

Mate 20 Pro does have an additional ultra-wide angle camera which comes handy in certain occasions. P20 Pro does have it's own exclusive monochrome sensor if you're into artistic photography.

Still, both are great cameraphones overall and It makes me more excited to see what kind of exceptional images the quad-camera setup of P30 Pro will bring to the table.

Plus in real life results, video recording on Mate 20 pro is way better, especially stability. They look at the detailing too much, when overall impression lean towards Mate 20 pro.

i'm actually expecting a tie since the new mate's cameras are basically the same with p20 pro.

Shanti Dope, 19 Jan 2019Now it's time to test the XZ2 Premium! The camera setup and the overall characteristics of XZ2 Premium's cameras wouldn't get along well with the new testing protocol of DxOMark. HDR is hit and miss, it lacks zoom lens, they don't include a monochrome sensor into the test, and ultra high sensitivity mode is unlikely to get triggered when it's shooting at their test chart as it will be placed relatively close to the phone. I doubt Sony sent the sample phone to DxO in the first place.

"The only real complaint in video is the stabilization has a noticeable drift when shooting in lower light."
Judging by tones of videos on Youtube, that drift appears always and completely ruining nearly every video, unless it's steady video.
