Curtisjr1, 22 Jan 2019is huawei mate 10 pro still better choice in 2019 If its for selfie, nope. Previous P10 front camera are a lot better. Starting Mate 10, Huawei front camera loose their charm. Rear cam is excellent though.

Make sure that your screen proctector & lens sensors are clean.

I knew iphone would get poor score.
But the score for Note is more than it deserves.
It is as bad as previous generations, even A8+ does better

This makes no sense to me. Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 are almost identical in terms of processing but has 15 points gap between their scores. Mate 20 Pro is only scoring 3 points higher than P20 Pro which is far worse in real life performance, and Note 9 is in the second place despite the fact that its HDR doesn't even trigger half the time when it necessary and occasionally it washes out the background completely, plus it's quite bad when it comes to skin smoothening. If your priority is a selfie camera you'll be having much better time using Pixel 2, iPhone XS, Mate 20 Pro over Note 9 and Mi Mix 3, since with a selfie you're not gonna pixel peep into your face but rather upload it to Facebook that applies tons of compression anyway.
By the way did they even test those devices with beauty mode being completely disabled? Some devices phones from Samsung and Huawei have beauty mode activated by default and if it was used it would heavily affect the overall score.
