I don't think many people will find that useless. At least that can't be a reason why anybody would buy a new phone

B-But Galaxy Note that you're referring on the 2011 link don't have anything to do with floating gesture (those uses stylus to do that)... It's the unfamous Xperia Sola and SP, released back in 2012.

The thing with S4/S5 was that it's gestures were imperfect and didn't live upto the hype. If LG is reintroducing the tech, then they must've improved and refined it & it could be very successful.

You can't deny the fact that it looks futuristic to hover over the screens instead of touching it. You've seen the movies, you know what to expect.

when will LG show a phone and promise updates for it?....they did that...but they NEVER keep their promise...I admit, they are very innovative but they are so weak when it comes to fulfilling their promises....

              2012 Xperia Sola??

Especially in the summer. Parties, beach, BBQ and just when you didn't feel like picking up the phone. But you were playing with your iPhone, and felt angry because you couldn't do anything Samsung could back then.

Galaxy s4, welcome back and with a new logo.

Even Samsung's homeland competitor are innovating. Samsung? Innovate what? LOL! No innovation since 2012 and only can copy Apple. As Chinese OEMs keeps innovating, Samsung is closing their shops one by one in the world.
