                  ...but to be fair I guess it is more intended for charging earphones or a 'smart watch', with a relatively small battery, rather than another phone/phablet.

                        I really appreciate how Samsung moves from one tech space to another. When opportunity ends in one sector, they quickly move into another sector. There are reports that Samsung is in the process replacing it's smartphone operation in China with new factories focusing on producing high-power capacitors, preparing for next tech revolution: Emission less cars and AI-assisted driving.

                          We know who the leader is in the smartphone phone industry. Where would Huawei be if Sammy and Apple didn't pad the States corrupt politicians.

                            With Huawei's P30 series coming, Samsung S10 series look competent but with no real selling points, especially for those undecided buyers. Technology-wise, S10 is behind P30.

                              So Samsung has learned a thing or two from Huawei. There are user scenarios where reverse-charging is really useful. (Plenty of examples on YouTube.) Samsung's position in mobile may be in danger, but Samsung is not stupid. Samsung's standing as a tech company is still rock solid. For Samsung Mobil, Huawei's P30 is going to be a nightmare.

                                Not needed feature for sure.

                                  The reverse charging on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is half baked rubbish. The reverse charge has such weak charge, that it would take a year to charge another Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Hopefully the Samsung S10 isn't as lousy.
