We’ve seen this phone smash walnuts, get kicked down stairs, and even break through a watermelon.

Samarth N8 808 user, 31 Jan 2019Dear Gsmarena staff, I want you to focus specially on the ... moreThey should do this, but remember to do it for all brands. For example, tell readers how much bloatware are in Samsung phones which cannot be uninstalled.

Samsung M10 is way muchh better then this

                Dear Gsmarena staff,
I want you to focus specially on the UI and the bloatware, with these specifics:-
                1. What all default apps can be removed? Both Google and Mi's apps.
                2. What is the advert situation on MIUI?
                3. How capable is the Mi Security app?

Additionally, a slow motion video sample would be awesome... Usually you skip that...

Also, please don't skip any lab tests. Those matter a lot...
                Thanks.

You could see how fast you can pull frames off the 48mp sensor in 8k and 4k in photo, dng, and in open camera using their special settings for video.

Note, 30 Jan 2019Its stupid how they went all screen on top but there is hug... moreIt's not that they're copying other brands. At this price point, the display is always outsourced from the cheapest manufacturing they can find. On the engineering standpoint, the chin is mostly where the display's controller, ribbon connector, and LED backlight and circuitry resides. A full screen setup can only be done on an OLED screen wrapping around the bottom of the panel so the connectors, circuitry and controller were situated behind and what phone has this tech? Apple iPhones. How much is the price of the iPhone XR, the cheapest model?

Would love to see how the note 7 compares to the older Redmi note series especially in terms of Loud Speaker (Which has the loudest speaker) and the best Camera.

SpiritWolf, 30 Jan 2019Heheh. Technology is going backwards then. 660 and too weak... moreThe Nokia 808 does not need beefy processing because its sensor's raw data were already good enough and only needs very little processing to look better. It's improvements (bigger sensor + better optics) were more on the physics side than on the processing.

dod, 31 Jan 2019it was not a Bend test.if you look video carefully it looks... moreThe first bend he did is pretty much what everyone does, and the redmi note 3,4,5,6 pro all bent. But the screen broke only on the note 3, and now 7. Of course these werent all done by the same tester.

The last Oracle, 30 Jan 2019I am not sure you're right. It is a Quar Bayer sensor with ... moreActually it's specific to this sensor. This one does not have ur usual quad Bayer pixel array. It really can't take real 48mp pics. Just search for Samsung GM1 sensor and why the photos it takes r not true 48mp on YouTube.

hmm, 30 Jan 2019Turn the ads off from the options. You dont need to be rock... moreYou really believe that'll work? Of course I disabled all that.
