My biggest concern is that this is still using old UFS 2.1 technology. Will the new Samsung phones offer UFS 3.0? It's far faster.
I would much rather have 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage on my mobile device than 1TB of UFS 2.1.

So much ... moreThe cloud cost time to trasfer big files and only advisable where you have wifi coverage to not destroy your data plan. And this overkill nothing, you always have models with lower capacity to choose. This is the top one. And sure that a lot of customers will profit it.

Samsung should start using their own transparent OLED display on their mobile devices. This enable them to hide any sensors and selfie camera(s) behind the display/screen.

Really too big for phone. Even 512GB is over kill. So much stuff on a phone that can be lost/stolen/damage is not a good idea. Should be stored on the cloud for backup

I have a 64GB Note 8 with 256GB SD card and I've got like 10GB free on both of them.
Managing storage the best I can 'cause SD cards are hella expensive.
So if Sammy decides to make a foldable Note phone with a big screens on all sides, I will get it in 1TB version (if they will have it) and get a 512 GB SD card.
Saving money is a burden.

Anonymous, 30 Jan 2019Who needs 1 TB on a phone ?? FOR WHAT ??Media crazy ppl I guess. I have a friend who store 4k hdr movies in his note9. The sizes were around 50gb+ each. So yeah with 1tb he could store 18 movies. Ppl like him do exist you know.

Syel, 30 Jan 2019Omg who in the world would need a 1TB storage in their phones!???In my school, we always have a fliptop segment in which many students from different grade levels attend in during break time for free (this is just organized by us students, and only 2 out of several teachers know about this).
Everyday, there will be 1 battle, which usually takes around 20 to 30 minutes long, depending on the situation.
I'm assigned for recording the video, and storage is a huge concern for me.
A 20-minute 720p video would usually take around 5GB already, so I still need to compress it to 480p to save up more space and to be able to upload the video faster (the internet in my country also sucks big time).
This 1TB phone would be a great help for me to save more videos.

Remember the first SSDs compared to disk based HDDs. Write/Read Throughput was more or less the same bus access times made all the difference.
