    re Apple iPhones all you get is in phone storage with after 10 years still no memory expansion in sight and step ups in storage, you could purchase a pocophone.

    My apps are stored in phone memory, music and videos in memory card.
    With an extensive music collection ripped from owned CDs my music app states I have 1500 individual music files songs(a small part of my collection)

    This is clearly over 100 hours, however even this is becoming unwieldy and multiple battery recharge

    Improvements like this means even 2 years unless you have a compulsion to update why would you?

    I personally prefer the option of having a memory card or the memory card option whilst not required it gives you the option to sync phones without a PC, 64Gb is overkill, I need back up due to the weeks required to re rip the CD library

      So UFS 3.0 is not mass production ready!????

        Rip my newly built gaming pc has 240GB of storage. Lol.

          Article compares the 1TB chip with previous gen 512GB chip however the table explicitly says UFS 2.1 for both 1TB and 512GB chips. I dont think this is a new generation, just more capacity glued on top.

                UFS 2.1???
                Why?
                UFS 3.0 was introduced in 1/2018 and we are still at UFS 2.x.

                    Thats like a KING move. A desktop in pocket I think it will also have expandable option.

                    I never thought 1TB on smartphone...

                      Huawei and others will definetly be buying these for their flagship phones.

                      The S10 Plus 1TB option looks like it is going to be a beast of a phone.
