Phone companies are becoming increasingly out of touch. Better battery life. That's something people actually care about. Screens are getting bigger and bigger but batteries arent really. 4000mah should be the norm for any phone with a 6 inch screen these days.

Portless phone okay so it uses wireless charging? What about earbuds? Fuck outta here with that. It's bad enough that Apple got rid of all ports on their laptops expect for USB Type-C but this is even more over the top.

I could never pay that much for a Chinese phone, especially one by Meizu. Too many faulty devices by this company, Xiaomi is much more polished and bang for the buck.

No USB-C, no jack, no speaker and grills and no SIM tray could've been cheaper. eSIM chips are dirt cheap to manufacture. Piezoelectric displays are cheap. The only thing that could be expensive is Meizu's proprietary wireless charger that is as fast as QuickCharge 3/4. And the fact that it is SD 845 means it is totally not worth the $1299. I know Meizu is a small company and they don't have much funds to R&D this concept to a reality but this is not worth it.
I would be surprised that Vivo NEX (Zero) would cost 2/3rds the Meizu Zero.
