This just looks like a standard Samsung depicting of the future, we can't say that anything in the video would be available in the immediate future. There's things such as the tatooist using a computerised needle, a man using three large screens and the couple using an ultrasound scan fun their phone. This may all be other departments of Samsung ecosystem that they wish to integrate into each other. However it's unlikely for them to intentionally release designs for products that are only round the corner.

Sugar, 02 Feb 2019Haha. It looks so smooth and reliable on the video but does... moreBuy a Oneplus 6 with 8gb ram it never lags . shifted to OP 6 from S9+ .Never buy expensive prototypes. Give yourself a favor and dont be a lab rat for Samsung

Wow... Can't wait to see the reviews

Kingslayer, 02 Feb 2019I still like Xiaomi's concept of it the best. Not a chance, the outward fold is a scratch magnet 100%.
If the Galaxy F actually has the display as depicted in the clip I'm super excited as the front will have very little bezels. Only flat screen I would consider.

Let's just hope these foldables will have big batteries and can have battery life as long as iPads. I remember my iPad 2 had amazing battery life even 5 years later.

Last year's flagship smartphones as a whole actually had worse battery life. At least we'll be seeing a different form factor. Not the same boring slabs.

Can't wait for Samsung Unpacked on February 20th.

Sorry but 00:23 was not the most interesting part, pretty much everything else was more interesting, actually.

              RIP small tablets.

I still like Xiaomi's concept of it the best.

That wardrobe function looked like leapmotion and Microsoft surface (the original surface) combined on a modded mirror(smart mirror tutorials are already available)

Samsung already makes ultrasound devices.. So integration is not very surprising

They already have laser printers for tattoos

Anonymous, 02 Feb 2019Anything larger than 5, 5.5" is a phablet.I would argue anything that cannot not be comfortably used in one hand, i.e. reaching all four corners without having to strain like a beeyotch, is phablet-sized. So anything over the 4.3, 4.5" range is officially phablet territory, but because the market keeps redefining what is normal-sized, people don't realize it. The fact of the matter is, hand sizes have not changed since the flip phone days when phones were designed to be compact and to fit comfortably in the human hand. Nowadays, even NBA players struggle with using their phones one-handed.

                      1600 for base Galaxy Flex
Huawei comes out with their own for 1500
Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo get it down to perhaps 1300
Next year, 1400 will be regular as the price
And the year after that, hovering around the 1000-1100 Mark for a very good version

Not everyone will buy this and its only set for limited units...

It will only become better with every revision for the next years to come.

So in 3 years, the device would cost within $1000 or below-ish and can be mass produced by other manufacturers for cheaper cost.

Haha. It looks so smooth and reliable on the video but does not really translate to real life situations. I love samsung but even my note 9 can be laggy sometimes that I need to refresh device maintenance when this happen.

It looks better than what we saw in their last conference!
