Anonymous, 05 Feb 2019lg, sony, htc should stop make phones nobody buys them.Agree on that, I didn't express it earlier because I would look bad but I am really glad people realising it now. The same applies to Motorola, I thought they will become sharper with Lenovo but no. They are going down..
Btw I don't mind if they continue producing phones, losing money etc but I hate it when on my local European market I can find every one of these brands but no Xiaomi, no Oppo, no Vivo.
(Nordics) all these legacy brands as I call them.

If LG fix their update politic, they will do profit. LG has great phone and worst software support, they stop updating their flagship phones just one year after release.

i had lg g2 and i loved it. after that lg forgot designing flagships.LG comes late to adopt newer tech instead it should have been the leader and designer.They think of competing with samsung only which they are unable to.Even oppo ,onepus ,xiaomi are doing great.
Camera quality decreased after g5 (Who puts 13mp 1micron pixels in flagships, took 3 years to adopt to 12mp 1.4micron)
DISPLAY (amoled is the king and lg is still lagard in adopting it though it is a display giant,no curved displays and same design in g7 g8)
FINGERPRINT (even cheapos moving to under display fp but lg will make flagship without it)
SOFTWARE(The worst in flagship)
CHARGING(still slower one because samsung hasnt changed,look at oneplus vivo)
RELIABILITY(least reliable,all flagships of lg had terrible flaws bootloops,burn in,over heating)
AND THEY CALL THE END PRODUCT FLAGSHIP AND WANT TO COMPETE
LG should make flagships true to their name and put the best of specs

LG problem is multiple region versions of same model. For example LG G6 with different LTE bands for Europe, different for US, different for Korea etc.
Why not make one GLOBAL model? With all LTE bands available.

I had an lg g2, that phone was truly amazing and made me a big lg fan. I have almost all my home appliances and my tv from lg and they are great. For the last 3 months I've bought an lg v30 and I LOVE IT. It has so many features like quadDAC (get yourself a good pair of headphones which have an impedance higher then 50 ohms, like superlux 668b), OLED screed (yes is amoled, all mobile oled screens are amoled), wide angle camera (the most useful thing ever invented in a phone in my opinion), microphones which record HD sound up to 142db (goodbye jittering when recording concerts), and muchhhhh more like manual photo and video camera, slim body, amazing battery life (the best of all flagships released in 2017), very good stabilisation (first it was bad but lg updated it) and many more. Also LG still supports this phone through software updates. It's true that we dont have android pie at the moment but lg brought to the v30 the following: a night mode called bright mode, an AI mode, new AOD themes, portrait mode and now 3D DTS sound, basically almost all the features that are on the g7 and v40. Which phone company does this ?! And the BEST part is that this phone is ONLY 250$ on eBay !!! I've already bought one for my brother and will buy another for my girlfriend :)

LG and HTC have some great tech on their phones, but lack great marketing and strong USP. They need a complete makeover in design. LG cameras also haven't improved in the past 5 years or so. They both need to create 5x Zoom Cameras and work with Sony on propreitory or exclusive camera sensors. Also they need way better design language. One of the biggest issues with older companies is that their management makes transitions and improvements very slow. They are very old school and resistant to fast paced changes. This needs to change. LG and HTC have made some superb smartphones. They need to ask all former customers as well as future ones what features they want. And then give them all these features and more.

Oneplus creates more hype than this one of the most experienced company. LG's marketing really sucks. I live in India and I've never seen any TVC or billboard or anywhere else. Neither G series nor V. My daily driver is LG G7+, which was launched in 1st half of 2018 with 8.0 oreo and I'm still on that same android version. After losing money in consecutive 15 quarters, they're still not getting that they are not Apple.

LG didnt provide warranty service like apple or samsung did in a lot of country. You can easily find Samsung or Apple service center, but i rarely seen LG service center.
Of course Apple and Samsung resale value was amazing compared to LG. You can easily lost 20% value after a week of using LG phones.

LG to continue making phones and to continue losing millions in their mobile phone business because of ZERO customer retention brought about by ZERO android software updates for its flagship phones and ZERO IQ of its design team which keeps on coming with the same
rehashed, generic designs and features other flagship phones can offer at half to 1/4th the cost. R. I. P. LG mobile. You deserve to become extinct with your HORRIBLE and HORRENDOUS android software updates and after sales customer support. You'll have less than 1% market share soon like Sony and HTC.
