To think people can get this hurt over something so trivial. If you don't have an app drawer, just place them on another page on the homescreen, it's not that hard. The lack of this shouldn't be something that makes the phone "literally unusable" and garbage-tier.

I find the flat menu without an app drawer to be more user friendly, just cluster the most used apps in folders and place the folders on the home screen. The App drawer is just like looking for a pin in a haystack. Do you remember Nokia's non-flat menus in Symbian? Those menus naturally solved this problem.

If you swipe down on home screen the notification and quick settings open.
Are other brands not this convenient?

Finally, they stop copying ios. Most people install Nova launcher because of this.

Lyndino, 07 Feb 2019If that is in fact the case then I laugh in the face of eve... moreYes, they are to slow, maybe thats a reason of HTC sales on one hand (and new phones), on the other hand chici chici China Huawei (and Honor) phones. Maybe most of the customers just buys Android phones, without swipe up feature (2009), because they think thats to old feature. Same goes for Google phones and their sales, even on home market :/

Sony will be always good, with or without swipe up, because od 21:9 new trend

It is nice to see them getting a feature that's been around since the HTC magic (released 2009).

First Huawei, then Oppo. Who is next? Xiaomi, just need to pre-install Poco launcher in MIUI and thats it.
