It's so cool, that you can even listen to unofficial released songs and singles, they are missing in all platforms except YouTube music and google music. but a Big BUT "unfortunately and FFS google doesn't have any desktop or webdesktop app, you can only listen to music in from the website or mobile app and lyrics feature is missing as well"

Waaay ahead of you, Spotify - I wouldn't want one of your accounts even for free. At least for now, CDs still come without ads which is a good thing considering I'm not willing to tolerate any. Oh, and regarding the "astronomical monthly price of €7.50": some of us pay less than that for our entire broadband connection. Yes, really. And it's that low for a reason - they know full well people couldn't afford more around here.

Anonymous, 08 Feb 2019It's business man. Nothing is for free. Yep, but that's kind of strict in my opinion

The only stupid artists I know was missing in Spotify is Taylor Swift - because Apple pay for this, but now even she is there.

People who block ads while surfing the web or anything must be really pathetic. You want to get free stuff without giving back to the content creator? If everyone uses ad-blocker, the internet would not be informative enough because a lot of online businesses won't be around. Stop using ad-blockers especially on browsers, when you visit your favourite websites and you see an ad that interests you, click on it and show them love. You won't die.

First solution: Create a new account (plenty of websites can create temporarry accounts for These kind of things)
Second and better solution: Look elsewhere, Gogle music, Apple music, Deezer, Pandora, Tidal, Juke and many more. Spotify doesn't offer anything special and lacks some really nice features like a cloud storage to upload your own music there, no lyrics and some awesome artists like "Rammstein" are missing from Spotify.
Don't get me wrong Spotify is a really good music streaming but if they want to play Trick cards, so we do as well.

basically what they trying is to protect companies with bad products and help them get into your head; a company who's products are excellent do not need subversive messages to sell its products; this is the worst kind of marketing and its goal is not to deliver a good streaming service but only to maximize its revenue...."WE WANT YOUR MONEY AND OBEDIENCE!"

This is a subjective opinion by the author: "...astronomical monthly price of €7.50 (on average)..." which isn't appropriate I think.

For some regions, I might be not cheap enough. But I think it's not astronomic or ridiculous at all. There are way more ridiculous price tags out in this world. Like the flagship phones nowadays, the pay-to-win freemium apps, etc.

Again, it's a constant amount of money every month, but on the other hand they deliver a good music experience. Just make sure you use the features frequently. If not, then just get the free account with ad's, which is fair.

As stated long ago, an sd card is the best source for music and other digital belongings, be it stolen or legitimately acquired. Long live removable storage, long live open source.
