Maybe there is not much phones which offers more features for less money but there are tons of phones which offers equal speeds and quality for less or much less money.
No matter how rich ill be i will never buy something i cant use.
If phone for 400 does sanme tricks as S10 Samsung then i see no point in buying phone for 1200.
As i said rather give money to the poor than be selfish.
Anyway most people change their phones every 2 years.
Not many persons use their phone till it dies to point where no repair would help.

When you dont have enough f... moreI have used my Mate 20 pro to charge by earbuds when i was travelling long distance, worked like a charm and ddnt wait for too long. Charging another phone would be another story. it's a feature a lot of people diss but once you use it, it is quite useful, not essential of course.
Would it affect my decision when changing phones? Only if it's one of the extra features for a similar price than other flagships. Phones are still too similar, any difference within the same price range is welcome.

you leave your smartwatch on y wireless pad and it starts charging. I Don't know if there are some smartwatches or wireless headphones with wireless charging functionality but i could easily charge my Gar S3 with my charging pad and for example there's a case for AirPods, that adds wireless charging to your AirPods and it doesn't cost more than 10bucks.

If it's true then yeah, it's completley useless to Charge another phone with it but to charge a smartwatch or wireless hedphones is still an awesome feature.

By that time the emergency had passed or worsened. Its much more effective to just bring a power bank with you.

... moreRight now when it comes to video recording i don't really need OIS because Google Photos app can do amazing job.
And some mid range phone like Xperia XA2 Ultra has fromt camera with OIS and with the help of Open Camera App you can get 4K video recording with front camera.
But as far as i know from the leaked specs sheets they don't mention anything about OIS they just said "World first selfie camera 4K recording"

Anonymous, 13 Feb 2019you're right! this is a phone... not a power bank. It's not meant to be a power bank. The intention of reverse wireless charging is for emergency cases when needed to have power for drained phones of your family/buddy for some important message or call they need to do.
