Reverse WC is even worse. On the mate 20 the efficiency is 30%, meaning that for every mAh charged (to a watch or sigh, a phone) the mate lose 3x that.
To put it on your numbers, the S10 (or mate) would need to have a battery of more than 9300mAh to fully charge the XS max.

Being objective, yes Samsung flagship phones are expensive, but you can hardly get equal or more features for the money. How many flagships have a 3.5mm jack + wireless charging + reverse charging + triple cameras + 128 GB base storage + IP68 + on display FPS and so on? Some people value those features no matter the price, the competition always compromises on some features while not exactly charging lots less. Look at Huawei, they charge as much as Samsung and Apple.

When the screen lights up in the first video there isn't any hole. Maybe Samsung pulled it off after all and leaked false pictures to cover it up. And also if they announced the New Infinity display why would they use that hideous Infinity-O on their flagship?

For example My Redmi Note 5 AI with the help Open Camera app can also record 4K video with front camera.
