Not that I will buy the S10 but I've been using the note 8 since launch day with no screen protector and apart from some superficial scratches, the screen is just fine.

I can't believe that Samsung would fall for the so called "Trends" like these, which is stupid. You went bezel-less, fine, except it results in false touches..
For me sadly, this phone is sort of destroyed due to this hole thing... The display is ruined!
There's a ray of hope though:--> Maybe the Hole is just to point out the location of FP Sensor, and not a valid requirement?! Maybe it works with full Screen Protector?

Either I'll get the Note 9, either Sony XZ4. The s10+ is horrible with that double punch hole selfie.
I want just a slim bezel, not holes in the display.. :(

Notch is better than screen hole. But i prefer none of both.

The date on the screen says Friday February 23. In 2018 it was Firday February 23. I think this video is very outdated. But we will see in a couple of days.

When I am watching the video, I am crying because the very big hole make all design...sorry ugly. Sorry, I do not hate Samsung but it is truly uglier than notch, selfie hole, bezel, etc.

I am explaning you. At around 20K you get pocophone, you have to spend 18k extra to get what in oneplus? On display scanner? Biggest gimmick? Faster charging? And what? Even the camera is nearly same, if you use google camera in POCO.. glass back? Definately canÂÂ’t say a postive... And UI? Flashing custom rom on Poco is one hour job.. so definately not 18k improvement ...l but if you jump from Oneplus 6T to Note 9... you are getting so much more.. curverd qhd display, faster storage..so many more sensors like barometer, temeperature gaige, heartbeat sensor, iris sensor, o2 sensor. expandable memory, headphone jack, ip rating! Sterero speakers, akg tuned audio and headphones, s pen, better battery efficiency, samsung pay, knox security, dex, VR, usb 3.1, dual aperture, dual pixel overall better camera and hdr 10 support.. there are many other things like wireless charging, RDS etc. but yes samsung also gives 3 major software updates, which is equal to what one plus gives. Onplus has what? Faster charging only? And you are definately wrong about pixel devices. Pixel devices get the latest OS the day the Os gets released, nearly 2 months before any device. You are definately biased towards oneplus. My brother is not happy with his oneplus 6t after he experienced my note. So yeah.. hope you stay fair with your opinions.

Ultrasound won't work if there is a thin layer of air in between the sensor and the finger... I think something like dbrand will be ok with their skins.. And who here is using screen protectors on thwir galaxy phones? Atleast for note phones it renders the spen relatively useless
