I am a true Xiaomi fan from Redmi 2 until I realize that MiUI has few useless apps and advertisements (some can be deleleted, some can't). A bit dissapointed although I am still loving Xiaomi lot than other Chinese original brands. So good luck, Xiaomi!

For those person who are dumping Samsung.
Samsung is the Industry Leader in semiconductor and it is bigger than your thinking.
Samsung have some strategy in their business plan.
So be patience if you cannot afford why are you teasing and worrying.

I am sure this year the launching price will be the same as last year. It tries to compete with Huawei, for sure $516 will be the 855 version, and price will be cut several month later, then Mi9 lite will be launch with SD 720 or 675 at much cheaper price.

It doesn't make sense. In their slides Xiaomi are always the best. When they compare their products prices they are always the lowest compared to the others. And now they would have a slide where they would be more expensive than the opponents? I know they have said Xiaomi will be high end devices now, but for me the price should be around 2990 yuans here, even if even in China rumors states a price around 4000 (but this kind rumor was the same as for the Mi8 which was not that expensive).

Non ionising radiation is pretty useless in terms of causing cancer. Heck sunlight is more dangerous in that regards... Also if it has higher radiation than normal, it won't even be sold in US or India or eu for that matter...

AnonD-731363, 15 Feb 2019Still a very good price compared to Samsnung Sony or Apple ... moreXiaomi basically built their reputation in the smartphone industry by making phones with the same/better specs as mainstream flagships but at a fraction of the price. $500 is completely fine but once you reach $700-$800 you're reaching mainstream flagship territory (e.g. Samsung, Huawei, Google) and the mainstream flagships have a handful of things that most Chinese manufacturers still haven't implemented into all of their phones like any form of water resistance or Widevine L1 certification. I'd also be getting arguably better cameras and better support with the mainstream flagships so at that point you're better off going with the mainstream flagship.
