Lolzer, 16 Feb 2019Wut? Yesterday you posted that it will cost 3499 CNY and to... more2499 is the price for the base version while 3499 has more ram and storage
        So both are true

Looks good, at least for the back, but what I'm hoping for is that the XIAOMI MI 9 Transparent Edition hopefully does get a real transparent back and not one with artificial garnish, because that looks cartoon-ish in my opinion. It's like u buying some Lego City toy and pasting the stickers on it to make it real, when it's actually not, even though for the previous XIAOMI MI 8 EE's case it's actually housing real components (obviously, it's a smartphone after all)

IMX586 is fine on phones with $500 max price tag.
The $885 Mi 9 must at least have the same level of image quality as the P20 Pro/Mate 20 Pro'd 40MP snapper, or have camera algorithms that's at least nearly as good as Google's, or better if both, otherwise it's utterly nonsense to pay that much for a Xiaomi flagship phone.

Ron7x, 16 Feb 2019I believe no micro SD support here. dude. mi series never had a sd card support. move on

I regularly buy new Xiaomi phones, loved the Mi 5 and have tried the Mi 8, but wasn't overly impressed with the rather average battery life. Sold it and bought the Pocophone F1 instead, totally happy with it, mainly due to SD 845 and large battery, don't care much about high end bells and whistles on more expensive phones.

With this pricing and the same specs (48MP shooter) as the Note7 and View20, this will eat the breakfast of other Chinese companies.
