Carol, 18 Feb 2019They were always kings of copycats, together with samsung. ... moreplease kindly be quiet about copying. Nowadays whoever comes up with another phone is copying. Every phones look the same, a screen and a bar.. so who copied who? who are you to say who copied who? the first phone in 1973 had number pads and for decades it had number pads does that mean everyone copied the number pads design? think before you talk further.

Carol, 18 Feb 2019They were always kings of copycats, together with samsung. ... moreApple patented foldable display phones/devices before foldable displays were even patented or announced. So it's everyone else who will be copying Apple, as they already had these ideas and patented them a long time ago. They have multiple patents for this kind of devices, not just a single one.

So you must praise Apple for showing the rest of the world what is and what will be possible, even ahead of the time it's possible. All the angroid manufacturers will now copy Apple's foldable display patents in one way or another.

He could sell a scraped shue for millions, he was good, but that has nothing to do with apple being better or innovative and never had, cause they never were, are or would be.

I was a Apple fanboy. And watched every event. I'm afraid to say but Apple lost there innovation when Steve jobs passed. There no pizzazz no showmanship anymore. No disrespect to Tim cook. But when they do a launch. Its like flat. And Steve jobs famous tagline its only 699 and finally.

Walter C. Dornez, 17 Feb 2019I mean, I personally use iOS because I'm in the States, so ... moreAndroid is fine if you don't care about your personal data and you don't care about the fact that google gets your logs of everything you do and store on your device, as well as all the places you've been to, people you've met and talked to, what you talked about, etc. - basically being profiled by google to such a degree that it can mostly predict what you are most likely to click on, what you think about certain subjects, so that it can serve you the content, products, and search results which will generate the most incentives for them.

Also, if some big corporation/political party/organization/etc. wants to pay big bucks in order to get their products/views/etc. implanted to more people's minds so they can buy them/view things accordingly to their wishes, google has their ways to "guide" its users around the web by showing biased search results, recommended content, some subliminal messaging and so on, in order to achieve what the client wanted. Say you have some political views and you browse the web randomly or search for certain stuff which is somewhat or not at all a political subject. Google will be able to suggest certain articles and content to lead you towards what the big paying party would like you to think. And of course, it will show you this content disguised as something else, all to make you think you are the one reaching those conclusions and it is you who came up with those thoughts and ideas. This is just how search results and content is recommended to certain people based on their profiling data gathered by google.

So if one does not care about these things and/or has minimal usage of the internet, then android is great as it's open source and the devices running it are affordable.

Whereas the beauty of iOS and all Apple devices is that you can secure your data and keep all your user activity on your device, and it allows you to completely cut off your link with google services and products. You can just browse and get non-biased search results all around the web. Also, iOS apps are not allowed to collect as much data as android apps do, and there are less app exploits to be taken advantage of by malicious parties.

On top of this, even if you still use google services and apps on your iPhone, you would still get access to better apps and a higher quality, consistent experience and design, smoother, and more polished OS that interacts and connects perfectly with other devices. With android and other mobile OS-es there are hiccups, small glitches, imperfect animations, imperfect interactions, old menus and screens paired with new ones, etc.
