I loved the Mi 5 and also the Mi 8 but I didn't think the latter's battery life was more than average for a Xiaomi phone so I sold it and bought the Pocophone F1. I think my next phone is more likely to be a newer version of the Pocophone than the Mi 9. I really don't need the higher end features if it means that battery life is not as good as it is on the Pocophone.

why do promotions for these dumb cutout phones always, ALWAYS, try their very best to cover up the dumb cutouts? if you know how dumb those holes look then why did you design your phone with one in the first friggin place

I wouldn't mind a dedicated button, as long as it brings Google Assistant and not Bixby.

Mi 8 has Dual GPS and is subpar, so why mark that in Mi 9 as something new? The marketing department was desperate to find something new in this device.

This phone has a lot going for it ranging from design to nice little software tweaks. It's a shame that these Mi flagship phones never make it to India.
