At a viewer's distance of 20 cm (200 mm), the resolution limit is 846 dpi. A 4K mobile, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, has a screen 5.8" and a resolution of 760 dpi. Still there is headroom for luminance, which is surpassed only by 8K. But this cannot include gaming for now in full resolution, the graphics cards of PCs like RTX 2080ti with a power budget of 250W still struggle at 4K. A mobile has less than 5W to spare. For viewing photos this is fine, but for gaming Full HD (1080p) is the limit for the time come. Indeed, devices meant for gaming first, like Huawei Mate 20 X, have a large display (7.2") and a low resolution (Full HD).

that's not really possible for a 19:9 4k (That would mean the display is a freaking 2160x4560. whilst it IS possible for the width (2160 < 2304) it's impossible for the HEIGHT (4096 < 4560)
and there are no 16:9 panels anymore.) so your request is impossible. Learn the GPU's limits, and then talk to me.

And I am guessing you don't really want or need 4K for the bennefits, you just want braging wrights. (as you saied, how can a phone costing 200$ have the display you have on your 900$ phone)

This Vivo company is absolutely crazy, with a lot of unnecessary features that will drain your pocket. I am not sure who's gonna use these foldable phones. They are used just for the sake of showing off. They be like 'Oh, just look at me. I have this phone'..bla bla bla

I mean, if it's smaller than 5.7" then it's fine, but 4K should be the bare minimum for high end devices.
Imagine your high end $800 flagship phone having the same resolution as a $200 Xiaomi phone. Yes, my Redmi 5 Plus's display looks as beautiful as my sister's iPhone 7 Plus display.
You can brag about OLEDs and stuff, but the truth is that those things are meaningless if the sharpness leaves a lot to be desired. It simply doesn't feel any kind of high end 2019 phone at all with such resolution.
Besides, are there still any flagship chipset today that couldn't handle Ultra HD HDR panels?
Lowering resolution will be an option, but the highest possible resolution for a smartphone must first be present in a flagship phone.

All these phones with immense power yet it is wasted, iPhone included. Unlike Samsung with their useful DeX system. Tried it with my Note 9 on our 32" 4K monitor and it is pretty cool.
