I'll take the next iPhone seriously IF:- 1. It comes with either a 3.9 or 4.3" screen instead of the currently pitiful 3.5", 2. A6 (dual or quad core does not matter) w/ 1900mAh minimum batt AND 3. if Apple would grow a pair to hire/pay/support/encourage community based hacking and jailbreaking financially or via dev phone donations.
It won't really surprise me if the above mentioned HW changes and particularly the last OS/app semi open approach shall be deemed blasphemous by the zealots in the 1 Infinite Loop towers. The late Steve Jobs vetoed out 4" screen off the iPhone presumably because it would create a dual tier iPhone platform. I call BS. It's easy to see that a larger screen iPhone can easily steal albeit minor percentages off iPad's stats. When one can easily see that that would just be a short term side effect.

No surprise here. Lower IQ in the general population means higher sales for Apple. Among those there are few that actually inform themselves about the characteristics, capabilities and limitations of the product before buying it. The rest are under the influence of the herd effect.

I would trade my unlocked international galaxy s2 for an iphone 4S in a heartbeat. Not that I don't already own an 4S.

Apple created great devices and iphone 4s is one of them. they had great marketing to go with those products and great offensive tactics aggainst other companies. that being said i phone is now just a device for snobs buying the brand or for ppl that just like Apple. Android > IOS is much better from many points of view and galaxy S II > Iphone anytime.

Dont know how you do gaming on full touchscreens you cant beat real buttons,,certainly would never buy a fone to use a games machine..I want productivity an that requires proper keyboard for input and so you can use the whole of the screen..Glad i am getting s/e xperia pro.

All devices which are/were in the price range of the iPhone are on the list of compatibility for GTAIII. So if you bought lower spec phone you can't expect to have the latest games. Same goes for the PC market as well. So don't compare software with hardware.

iOS apps have a lot of issues. Take a l... moreNever had issues with games on my iPhone, and I've even gaming on iOS since 2008. Just downloaded Infinity Blade 2, Batman Arkham City Lockdown and Real Racing 2 and they play great.
The iPhone is not perfect, but it's a great games machine with a superior library at the moment.

Android phones are selling more than iPhones in Australia.
And Samsung it self is doing better then Apple.
SGS2 is selling like crazy, the iPhone is too, but a lot of people are finally starting to realise all of Apple's bullsh¡T and starting to move to HTC, Samsung, LG and Motorolla Androids

iOS apps have a lot of issues. Take a look at all the popular EA games for an example. Every time there is an update, its comment sections are filled with complaints of games closing, not running, etc. Just for the fact that you believe that all iOS apps just work makes me lol even more. iOS apps crash without an error message most of the times.

The same is true for the other competitors. It seems the Android community only targets Apple as being the only ones doing this. Apple holds a great deal of patents on many of the features that are now on every smartphone. Apple, just like Nokia and Samsung and everyone else, is just protecting their patents... as ALL companies do.
