Samsung is selling amazingly well in the European Union countries that also explains why Apple went after them. Everyone i see have a samsung smartphone or a cheap nokia smartphone i myself have a nokia e5 which have been serving me pretty good for 1 year and 2 months.

IOS 6 next big innovative feature - bluetooth transfer to other phones, or perhaps sms delivery reports... we shoudn't refer to an Iphone like a smartphone, because it lacks some pretty basic features

Here in Sweden, Iphone is selling at exactly the same price as a Nokia N9 and a Moto Razr, or a HTC Sensation XL... but handsets other than Apple ones are selling more than it...
Proves a point..

well maybe the pricing is the issue. as it a high end handset. so not everyone can afford it. so thats probably the problem. you pay for you get anyway. top end smartphone.
i am 1000% happy with mine. the only niggle. is the battery life. but thats apple's fault for making it so addicitive to use. everything about it screams perfection. !!!

Not surprised at all. Drop the iphone and it smashes to pieces like a pack of cards. Its beyond my imagination how Apple after spending over a full year cant invest a proportion of profit made on redesigning the iphone4s to the satisfaction of their followers. Wiser europeans are sticking with their old iphone4 or better switching to android. It's worth it rather than spending a dine on an overpriced rebranded product. Wake up UK, europe is smarter now.

[deleted post]Yeah tell me about it. Last time i was in the States i heard this guy at at party bragging to my cousin that he drives a Lexus. My cousin told him that the guy was driving a rebranded Toyota Camry and that every tom, dick and harry has one in Asia and eastern europe.

People in Mainland Europe has finally starting to gather some sense and hence abandoning Apple.
Nokia has launched a monstrous campaign and Android with its new models are selling better.

OK Europe is in a bad financial state, but maybe it's also time to stop that 1$=1€ nonsense conversion rate. Why should Europe pay for Apple's (and others too) electronics at a higher price than the US ?
