Photos looked a little grainy, given the fact that this is still a prototype, not a finalized product, so the software and hardware is still in "beta" phase. Of course, that's not the point, the main focus here is whether it is lossless or not. When comparing the photos coming from the telephoto with the 10x zoom, photos looked somewhat similar, though the ones coming from the 10x zoom looked a little more oversharpened as compared to the telephoto. Besides, it's almost the same as what you're getting with digital zoom, but with photos looking a little more oversharpened. 10x lossless optical zoom? Not really, 5x zoom is definitely optical and lossless, but beyond that, it's using the wide-angle camera to achieve the 10x zoom, making it a hybrid zoom instead of a optical

When they sai it's 10x optical, i was expecting the periscope system they tease last year, but instead we got the boring generic hybrid zoom with multi camera, similar to Huawei with the different is the wider focal length of the ultra wide and narrower telephoto for the sake if calling it 10x. You can blame me, they make a huge splash of optical that and optical this

The image quality is just terrible. Really terrible! Probably you won't get more details than Huawei's 80mm camera or even less.
