That should be an extra perk when you've already purchased the phone.

I think this is a good team up. As we all know, Xiaomi is a brand that's consistent on bringing devices that have a great price-to-performance ratio. Usually it's the CPU that's the main selling point in their smartphones, while the rest of its components are parts that have been out for a long while and are readily available. If things goes well, we might see a pure camera phone from Xiaomi and also better camera lenses on their whole smartphone lineup.

Or maybe it is indeed better for users like you to start use featurephones, but i guess even then you will see ads on screen :D

Xiaomi is always far ahaead of any other competition.
Their specs and quality of their phones compared to price will outbeat anything and everything as always.

even if people they copy/paste, they really are thinking other way and do better than the original idea from other brands.

Every year the zombies only think a phone is valuable based on the latest chipset so they only see PURCHASE VALUE while they look down and don't care about USAGE VALUE so they waste their latest and greatest Snapdragon 855 for Twitter then they look down on fast charging tech like super vooc a feature that the user will interact with 100% of the time
But with this multicamera application users will actually maximise the use of their phones CPU/GPU to FINALLY.

Light will earn more by partnering with other brands than they did by releasing a camera. Although I'm seeing that phones will be able to take professional grade photos in a couple of years
