What a bunch of smart idiots. They have the ability to design such complex technologies but lack common sense to come up with a name that doesn't require a paragraph to write.
It should've been USB 3 gen 1, 2 and 3. No USB 3.2 gen 2x2 nonsense.

USB standards are a mess both in charging and data speeds, USB was supposed to solve the worlds compatibility issues, instead it created its own

When will Apple use latest USB Type C in iPhones ? I really want it to happen , if anyone (Apple Officials) are reading this comment then please do it , Lightning is really old and outdated compared to USB Type-C .
