I knew s10 series wasnt going to do anything new.
Samsung just copies stuff previously seen on other phones. Since s3/s4 there was no tech impact.

About LG
Whats the difference now between G and V series?
LG has a pen for midrange, but why not for V?
Samsung Note never had another of its category.

I will wait next year when many phones come 21:9 if you guys will still have same opinion.
Tech community changes their mind easily when Apple or Samsung start to use something already being used by other.
Now that S10 has reverse Qi charging, they almost said it is useful. Same was not said about Mate 20 series.

And NONE of the editors even mentions the to me much more interesting long awaited return of the keyboard landscape slider with the Pro¹ that was presented during MWC in Barcelona.
It looks most like a slightly shortened Samsung S8+ with a sliding keyboard like e.g. the ancient Droid 4.

Nobody called out the soldering of the charging port on the S10. Guess this is how the blindness starts.
Must be expected on businesses that thrive on pushing new products every few months.

Great too see excitement towards Nokia. I was first sure Ill get S10+, then leaned towards Sony... But now that I could get Nokia 450e cheaper than s10+ and Sony takes long time to come, might just buy Nokia 9.

Everyone praising Mate X design but imo Galaxy Fold is alot better and more beautiful, Mate X looks like an early stage prototype while Galaxy Fold looks like a polished and consumer ready product

Galaxy Fold is overshadowed by Mate X.
But Galaxy Fold has 6 cameras
Huawei has only 3 cameras
But I love both design

My take:
– I tested Galaxy 10 family of phones on March 8th and left the shop unimpressed. 10e was my obvious fav, but generally... too many design errors to be my phone. The very inconvenient placement of side buttons tops the list even on the smallest 10e. And then those stupid icons! What truly disappointed me, however, was the generationally repeated absence of a serious DAC chip in Galaxy line phones. Soft DAC can only go so far, and some guys have already published their opinions, that soft DAC in the Note 9 is still superior, than the one in new S10 family.
– But hey, guys, you missed in your editorial writings yet another technological breakthrough from LG – that full glass back with cameras underneath. It is one very important development imho. LG G8 is probably not my phone either, but there's more substance in their tech leadership claims, than Samsung's... and less marketing crap.
– And finally, Galaxy S7 is now available for 150-200 euros new or lightly used. If anyone wants a truly class leading phone, go check it out.
