I really don't care which side it folds as long as it doesn't have that horrible wrinkle in the middle of the display like the Mate X. Yukk!

It says the fold-in can't fold flat. Doesn't look like the fold-out can either. Anyway, assuming a replaceable screen protector can solve the screen scratch issue then Huawei's fold-out appears best. Because of its ready to use screen when folded without a dedicated screen for that. And because of the naturally provided thickness needed for the camera.

EskeRahn, 03 Mar 2019We are voting among the least bad available designs... T... moreI think you're in the minority there. A three part origami phone is one fold too far. Twice as many parts that will fail, twice as many parts you have to unfold e v e r y time you want to use it at full potential.

well first this is more bending than actual fold
if i decide i need a device like this will be to be more compact so xiaomi and moto designs seems much better. i voted for xiaomi since you still have usable screen and when you watch something just unbend both sides and you have small tablet. galaxy fold is awful with that small and weird screen and even when you open it you have a notch. mate x is just too big so its pointless. at the monent just buy s10e +10"ipad pro and you will have much better experiance for less money. only people buying these will be showoffs. tech geeks will not risk it since they know how bad these devices are and rich people prefer something more practical and usable. also these are not luxury phones but their price is closer to veru/caviar etc.if xiaomi can make theirs around 1k$ and provide 2y warranty on screen will be winner.

I feel like quite a lot of people mistook this poll which is about type of fold for poll about some exact devices. In this poll you aren't choosing whether you like Huawei or Samsung, but whether or not you like folding inwards or outwards or something else.

Samsung Fold = dead on arrival. Huawei look good for a reborn fold design.

Love the Motorola shame its just a sketch. The rest especially the Huawei Mate are real phablets instead of just a big screen phone.

Fold in or out, I think it depends on the manufacturer. From what we saw, Huawei is a much better design than Samsung.

I think Huawei and Xiaomi designs define what people think about foldable phones. The Galaxy Fold looks good, looks premium, but it looks like the easier way to do it. Not that futuristic as the others...
