Lol, last sentence sums up everything. So it is not best camera phone afterall, and pretty much 5 cameras are more gimmicks for natural bokehs? I dont care about bokehs and other photography gimmicks, what people care is quality, and Nokia 9 falls behind against competition.

The 5 Camera behind looks rather awkward, it should have been vertically aligned

Anonymous, 05 Mar 2019You're just bitter and spouting nonsense. I know more than ... moreSo the truth hurts you and you jump to typical scapegoating.
The name was stolen as many other things were. Knowing facts and the truth while you get upset about them because you don't know what you're talking about is not me being hateful. It's the other way around. You clearly have extremely limited knowledge here.
And yes flip phones.
1. You do realize we are talking about 2007 and first iPhone right? Flip phones are entirely relevant and where brought up for their specific and directly related and relevant purpose. In direct response to claims in which they made sense being brought up.
2.Smart phones and other touchscreens were also part of that conversation.
3. Where's the first iPhone? It's not here either. So by your logic the entire conversation is now irrelevant.
And again. It is completely irrelevant where flip phones are now. We are talking about 2007 time frame.
You are so upset over being called out and being fed such cold hard facts you try to twist things by saying oh where are they now lmao.
Not to mention again that other devices such as actual smart phones that were definitely ahead were mentioned as well.
The point factually still stands that even basic flip phones back then were more advanced in multiple ways on basic functionality compared to the iPhone. It wasn't even until an update after the 3gs that iPhones could even send or recieve mms. Or until the 3gs they even recorded video.
Heck Samsung had the Omnia HD in between the 2nd and 3rd iPhone. Powered by Symbian which was far more functional and flexible. And it had an 8mp camera with flash and was the first phone to record or play 720p videos. IPhone 3g at the time had 2mp, no flash, no video recording, couldn't MMS, and of course no removable battery, flash content, or sd slot. Which were super staples then. And a less advanced os.
Not to mention the big OLED display of the omnia blew the crappy lcds of that time out of the water by a long shot. And the stereo speakers as well.
iPhone was never more advanced. Especially back in the day.

Anonymous, 05 Mar 2019You clearly know nothing about phones and smart phones prio... moreYou're just bitter and spouting nonsense. I know more than you. Always bring out stuff like stealing names etc, that's far from the truth. Flip phones what??? Where are they now??? Majority of phones now look like the iPhone of 2007. Look beyond hate for Apple otherwise you wouldn't come up with cr@p about names and say that about flip phones. The UI and UX were really poor on a lot of phones back then. Nokia were really good.
Anyway, not worth wasting my time going over this stuff with you if you've got blinders on.

Nothing iconic except name by way of brand recognition and popularity. Again. Even basic flip phones were more advanced in multiple ways. Let alone the smart phones that caused apple to want to jump on the bandwagon. Probably like devices called oh I dont know....ifone that apple stole the name from like they did many things.

Anonymous, 04 Mar 2019Yep! The problem is that people Are so used to bad quality... moreUnfortunately even phones used to have much more natural looking detail with a lot less noise reduction and sharpening. Took some photos with a note 2 a while back and was amazing by how much less processing was going on.

It doesn't matter what is perfect and what is not. White balance was under discussion. And there are samples with very poor white balance.

Anonymous, 04 Mar 2019Omg lol. The first iPhone couldn't even compare to most ave... moreThe first iPhone was a game changer. It shook up the mobile phone world. Multi-touch capacitive screen, fairly large for its time. Decent web browser. Solid build quality. Iconic.
Nothing popular in mass production came close.
Even Apple themselves weren't sure how well it was going to do at the time and never dreamt that it would take off like it did. Ask Samsung, they were falling over themselves to copy its design.
You know its an iPhone when you see a graphic of a phone depicting a rectangular image with rounded corners and a circular button inside at the bottom. An ICON.

The problem is that people Are so used to bad quality photos from phones that They think that those pictures Are the good ones...
There should be a photo made by real good camera and pictures should be related to it. How close They Are to real camera. Not what fake picture looks best!

Couldn't even record a video or send/receive MMS Haha. No sd slot, no removable battery, no bluetooth, no flash games. And all these things really meant something back then lol. But it's still the same now!
Ironically the one thing it did have over most was the headset Jack bwahaha.
