Samsung insists the Galaxy Fold design is better than the Huawei Mate X

Everyone's mind works differently I guess...

Won't the screen on the outside enabling a 360 degree wallpaper be more futuristic, and fashionable, and beautiful, and attractive? Think about it, your phone can look like whatever you want, even match your outfit or mood...
A decent transparent case to protect it can't be rocket science.

Doesn't six cameras drive the price up way higher than it needs to be?
Doesn't the Samsung also have an extra screen to make it functional when folded, further driving price up?

      Mate X is a lot better.
      But we cant expect Samsung people to prayse huawei products as we cant se viceversa.
      Thats just not possible.

          I think inside fold is more complex then the outside fold screen and also in design & look this time Samsung nail it!!
          I know that mate x features are better then samsung but still it is handy or you can use properly where samsung gives good design then Huawei!!

              I prefer the Samsung design far better than the Huawei mate X since you don't have to rest the phone on a screen. If only Samsung can make the second screen a bit more bit bigger and it would look better

                how is the Huawei any more susceptible to scratches/cosmetic damages or butt-dialing thank a regular phone??? granted there is twice as much screen to break, but the Huawei design and functionality whilst folded just trumps Samsungs 4.7 screen or whatever it is, granted I hate android either way but Huawei are leaps and bounds better than Samsung

                  Using that 4.6" screen with those bezels and that remote like body for ANYTHING is going to be horrible experience. That's what makes the design worse IMO.

                      to me i think mate x design far better than fold but yet we have to wait and see. still among all of then i prefer energizer foldable phone

                          When Galaxy Fold is in 2nd or 3rd gen, its going to be a hit. Prices of phones need to go lower, that is main problem in all of the flagships from big brands, Apple started that sadly.

                                  I side with Samsung, but I like the bigger folded screen of Huawei better

                                    The Huawei Mate X definitely looks better. Though I don't expect it to last over 3 months. It's screen is Fragile.

                                      Until they saw Mate X which completely stole the show. Majority of people like Mate X better according to polls.

                                        Huawei CEO says Huawei product is better.

                                        Samsung CEO says Samsung product is better.

                                        What else would you expect them to say? lol
