I dont hate nokia but I just want to put some facts on table. and this is reviewed by Gsmarena only.
Main disadvantages
1) Display is much dimmer than the N9's display
2)No Flash or Silverlight support in browser
3)No USB mass storage (file management and sync pass only through Zune)
4) No video calls and no front-facing camera either
5) Non-user-replaceable battery
6)No memory card slot (and no 64GB version like the N9)
7) microSIM card slot
8)No native DivX/XviD support, videos have to be transcoded by zune.
u can get all the above features and other basic features in most andriod phones which will cost almost the same for example samsung galaxy s2 .it has almost no disadvantages and offers all the above features with other added advantages
This cud be another paid stunt by nokia like the stunt they made for batman limited edition lumia phones by nokia to increase the sells as they are not doing so well in smartphones ,no wonder if I wud be in nokias place wud have done the same thing ....but fact remains the same.and thats the bottom line......to the end user....

Nokia Lumia 800 is a great phone better then apple iphone 4.Very good sound quality.i like it very much with huge options.great phone

Two years ago, in my country there is several Nokia Customer Care and their phone store is always crowded with people.
Now, ever since the launch of iPhone 4 onwards.
Nokia Customer Care is reduce to one and their phone stores seem to have an invisible force field that no one can penetrates. I use to be a nokia fan boy but as i walk near there and i saw the salespersons looking back at me.
I would then walk around the store keeping a safe distance between me and them. Well, look like they have X-men guiding their store. LOL!!!

Imagine that you have a windows phone7 smart phone, and One day you take a pic for some of your friend,
after that, he take his (cheap, idiot phone) and say to you: please send that pic to my phone by Bluetooth..
your answer will be: Sorry .. my smart phone can't do that!!
then your friend ask in wonder : how come your 700$+ phone can't do what my cheap idiot phone can do?
your answer is : because it is windows phone 7 smart phone :)

Nokia is superb for calls unlike iphones......dropped calls.......unreliable internet connection.......Nokia's screen does not shatter easily unlike iphones.......iphone's buttons becomes unusable after long term use........why do people still buy icrap......................

i own both galaxy S2 and recently lumia800 a week ago.though S2 has more external features than lumia800.,lumia is way better to use than s2 and very fast.i'm happy 2 use both

We must buy Nokia and other Europeans local brand.
So we Europeans and from other parts of the World must boycott all american product - Apple, Google (Motorola) except Microsoft Windows.
That's boycott does not apply only for Brits because these strange islanders called herself not Europeans even they live in Europe and Britain become island after last Ice age when arise see level.

Android is a different story, Android released only in the US, on the smallest of the big 4 carriers(Tmobile) and was limited to only one handset, the G1 which did fairly well. WP7 didn't just launch, WP7 has been out for a year now, and it launched on MULTIPLE US carriers, had MULTIPLE manufacturers making different models, not only this but Orange UK was giving a FREE xbox 360 with every Lumia 800, T mobile wasn't giving a free PS3, Apple wasn't giving a free macbook air or Ipod with every purchase. So what's your reasoning now? Lumia 800 launched with Mango, so OS refinement isn't an issue right? Since everyone is claiming Mango to be the first "real" WP7.

I might... moreRight, so because A LOT of reviews and blogs indicate that the OS is lacking means they're all against WP7 right? Can't be just that all of them came to the conclusion that WP7 isn't a good enough alternative to compete, it has to be because Samsung, HTC, and LG all paid these sites to bad mouth WP7.. oh wait they sell WP7 phones too so it doesn't make sense for them to do it! but but Because they're all against Nokia and Microsoft means that anything bad they say about the phones must not be true at all!
So again, how come carriers aren't pushing WP7 if WP7 provides a better user experience like you said it does? I mean if I was a CEO of a mobile carrier I wouldn't care whether you use iOS, WP7, or Android, as long as you're locked into a two year agreement and paying for data that's all that matters, why not push WP7 more when they sell them cheaper after contract?
to Sol, its actually the other way around, Carriers pay Apple a portion of each sale of the iphone, look at Sprint, it was forced into a contract in which it'll buy iphones for the next 5-6 years paying $15.5 billion for the phones total, they barely even have funds to upgrade their network. So sorry fanboy, try again.
