(It will get Android 10, and 2-3 years MIUI updates - with security patchs). Notch? Yes, but thats individual, it water drop shaped one (same as in OnePlus 6T), and it looks way better than Galaxy black holes in latest Samsung flagships.
And.. Its cheap 2019 flagship phone (under 500 euros).

Display's pretty much bezelless, without any cutouts on the front thankfully. I see a speaker grill on top too, it's a wide one of course, and I'm guessing that's most probably where the earpiece speaker will be at. But the funny thing is that the alert slider is missing, which is one of their most useful feature, weird. Specifications are basically on par with other high-end flagships released during the year, especially the 12GB RAM which sounds overkill (though u won't see a difference in terms of performance as compared to 8GB RAM smartphones), and the triple camera setup. Regarding the triple camera setup, I really hope that they'll come with something more promising this year, instead of having one of them taking on the role of being a depth sensor that helps in creating better portrait shots, which doesn't help in taking better photos. With that being said, one shouldn't expect this to cost as cheap as their predecessors, and for me, I expect a USD100-200 price increase

Give me a Vivo or Oppo with and retractable camera no notch, Super AMOLED, USB C, fast Processor and 3.5mm analogue headphone socket.

Why they keep using “AMOLED” displays, can’t see anything in full sunlight.
“Super AMOLED” is the only display that can be read in full sunlight without issue.

It's going to take a while for cameras to go underneath displays, probably after 2 years (first-gen/2020 will always have compromises and come with early-adopters tax). So do it to keep you happy in the meantime, just like how I wished I upgraded my NOTE 3 to the NOTE 4 but never did (and both Nexus devices I had broke).
Me, I'm hoping to upgrade to a more refined ASUS RoG Phone2 in the coming months. Otherwise, maybe another phone similar to the S10+ but one that has a flat screen so I can install a Glass Protector.

OP 7 => fast updates, clear stock-like OS, much much cheaper than S10+, faster charging
Camera quality depends...If the basic setup is good, they can improve using SW updates over time

Option to have edge to edge screen is a future. Even Samsung will drop punch hole since it has "New infinity" in their portfolio. All we need is only better technology to hide cameras not under the glass but under the screen. You may accept punch hole, I am not. I sold my Galaxy S6 Edge+ when my screen got cracked while night charging(it was in a Spigen Neo case with a glass protector on and I did not drop it even once) I like clean view. Punch hole is not clean as any form of notch. If I get P30 pro I will hide notch since i prefer bigger top bezel than a notch.

1) probably 19:9 .... contents are 16:9 and 21:9
2) mono speaker
3) no hdr screen
4) 1080p is not enough for oled, because of pentile configuration.
5) many ppl has only access to low quality music as mp3, the device has no upscale to better quality.
