Anonymous, 13 Mar 2019This zoom is pointless. Quality is worse than a 2MP photo. You're right. First photo is always superwide, the second one is with optical zoom, but the third one doesn't even look like a photography. It's rather something like a painting! Really, really bad painting xD

The concert photos were horrendous. But I don't know how many smartphone would be able to take decent photos of night concerts.
The wedding photos are also bad. Only the mid closeup is actually pretty good. The super closeup and the wide are disappointing.
Hopefully the final samples aren't aren't a watercolours mess like these one.

Cameras have true optical zoom to give you same quality in situations you cannot be any close to subject.
There is no point to offer a non-optical zoom that loses at least 50% of the quality. Not even counting that phones already provide lower quality than cameras.
If you want to have a nice photo of her dress or her ring, much better if you step closer to her.
