least my old android tablet will run netflix unlike a old ipad

I don't really see a problem here, Apple have cornered the market with tablets. Android tabs just don't have the same app compatibility and Windows tabs are few and far between. I had last years 2018 9.7 iPad and for the price it beat all competitors. I'm going to get the Air (with 3gb RAM) and I feel it will last me many years.

Apple’s line up makes less and less sense. Gen 1 and gen 2 pen work with some iPads and not others, some have Touch ID while others have Face ID, etc

High-res screen and audio are good. The cpu is average, it's not even close to an A12. But they don't cost $399/$499 either.

Some of my expectation fulfilled regarding ipad mini 5. But, they should either reduce/discount ipad mini base model to at least $50 (similiar to, ipad 2018 model which was discount $30/40 few days after launching or give an bundle offer with pencil for $350 at least. It is way to pricey considering tablet market and older design. Dear Apple, specs not always the thing: sometimes prestige, new design ..also comes into play: aren't you famous for all these?

Just FYI, Brooklyn 99 (Brooklyn nine-nine) is a very well written light-hearted comedy involving the NYPD police precinct. It is pretty fun :). If you have time I would recommend it:). I just binge watched 5 seasons over the weekend.

I am having iPad mini 2 (i.e ipad mini with retina display) since 2014. It is still working very well although iOS is still iOS8. Do you all have any idea why I should upgrade to this new one?
