-IR in 2019? Tv's in caffe's and bars don't know anything about BT and it comes to use rarely but it's like 0.1 $ for company to keep it...
-SD Slot in 2019? I have a freakin wallet with SD cards filled of business data and movies for a lot of traveling i can't use Mobile data in roaming it's way too expensive to get on cloud and im not only one... Speaking of business you can't really hack an SD card right?
-best camera experience... You press a button if you hurry or you are a noob for photograpy but if you want stunning pic you need do it by yourself !!!
-when you buy a Huawei... Even P10 GETS 9.0 so don't you dare to fool ppl around and OS version on that Pixel didn't bring almost nothing in reality...
-google assistant on pixel?
-Google assistant on Huawei? And idk for you but on my HW all google apps runs blazing fast...
-customization o a phone? Ya ya ya AI and clean GUI hahahaha you know what? you are right for basic user's who don't know how to benefit from UI , the perect UI is one you can't really benefit from... :) That must be really fun phone bro.
This is a good user experience... when you want to do something and you can whatever you wan't!
BUT pixel is a good phone especially for lazy users and users who need just a basic but quality stuff so it comes to preference ! Only thing that i really hate on pixel is GIANT notch and POOR battery COMPARED to others, Samsung,Huawei or even Xiaomi have better battery than the pixel... and when you get average charging speed out of the box at least it looks painful TO ME ! Besides that, Camera is ONE OF THE best out there but FOR ME when i count all pro's and con's it's not worth more than 700 for 3 XL ... atm lets say 500... and one thing about pixels really annoys me so much ... To many SOFTWARE bugs and problems at the first 2 months from launch so i made fun thing that software is developed by Android owners itself... its kinda shame... but after that phone starts showing off some great capabilities

-SD Slot in 2019? should I get another hard disk in my pockets? I have unlimited backup storage and I don't press a button to manage it...
-best camera experience... you press a button and get a great picture... don't need to adjust settings or retake the photo... guess what... you can take an infinity of photo/video(unlimited backup storage)!!!
-when you buy a Huawei... the phone will die with the same features... on Pixel you get updates monthly(My Huawei watch is broken after I updated to android 9 last summer on my pixel).
-google assistant on pixel?
-most used apps are Google apps and work best on Pixel...
-customization o a phone? why should I lose time when the AI adapt things for me and I have the cleanest GUI...
This is a good user experience... when you want to do something and you do the less for it!!

LOL. I don't care even if they do that to someone i'm just sure that even my country can't pull out information useful for them from my phone. And yes i'm a programmer and if you have phobia about spying you can't imagine what happens when u click Agree on Cookies popup on web page. Also, every manufacturer collects some user data. as long as it's not sensitive ones it's just as any other phone. And did you really think that Huawei would sue US government if they are guilty? They must be completely OUT OF THEIR MIND in that case.

Apple have user experience? must be really bad then :D First things first as an ex user of xiaomi, camera is **** and UI becomes laggy overtime while on my Huawei all works like first day. Second, EMUI is designed for china and many ppl dont like the way it looks but you cant tell that there is worse exp than on the Pixel. I can install nova launcher, apply different theme and BOOM i got the pixel look system wide. But when it comes to pixel can i manage to get IR,Second Space,custom gestures, any level of customization ? SD Slot? Faster charging? Even hide GIANT notch is under developer settings. What kind of UExperience is that? I guess featureless. Not worth reaching stock android when phones don't lag with custom ones.

Second, Xiaomi flagships = Huawei at half-price(other half is aggressive, expensive and false advertising)!!!
Third, you must be stupid to choose Huawei at ~1000 EUR price tag!!!

First of all i would agree with you that Xiaomi is a champion when it comes to price-performance. BUT, too much fake retailers software, honestly after few Xiaomi phones i can say that they really need some camera department... Also I'm using Huawei p20 right now and i will tell you that in build quality the difference is noteworthy... Also Getting Xiaomi trough the stores and getting warranty for them is nothing less than painful. As an ex internal Xiaomi software tester i can confirm also that they simply don't listen users. Only interest is does it have any bug. Also miui is far from perfect, kinda comparable with emui ... But getting 2 xiaomi's you can get quality of 1 huawei, and if camera warranty and user experience program doesn't mean anything to you, you simply don't look for a flagship device.

Jesus, twice the price of a P20 PRO? the P20Pro was on sale in Holland as you got €125 cash back from Huawei so it was only €475 ! also the P20 is €375 after cashback so are these worth twice the price??? I don't think so...
