Sony Xperia 1 screen works in 4K all the time

There is no option for Full HD+ switch, everything is shown in 3840 x 1644 pixels.

You will find a LOT of info about what you can disable or not in XDA forums - bloatware.

        Even pure androids sucks in battery, pixels are weak in battery.
        Sony phones drain more battery because they have heating issues

                      Root your phone and delete everything that you don't use or that it's not a system core app.

                      Or you can just disable them, also with ADB :
                      adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.package.example

                      You can use uninstall instead of disable, but if you uninstall something that you want back you'll need to hard reset the phone.

                      Also, I recommend using a Linux OS for it. It's 1000 times better than windows..

                            21:9 aspect 4K res is 3840x1600 and above.
                            BluRay 4k cinemawide movies are in that resolution, some 21:9 wide monitors also.
                            So it is actual 4k, so please stop ranting about that.

                                Ummm, in case you buy it, you can always change the resolution of the display and also the DPI density to whatever you want by installing ADB on the PC.

                                Screen resolution :
                                adb shell wm size 1080x2220

                                DPI density :
                                adb shell wm density 600

                                To reset it :
                                adb shell wm size reset
                                adb shell wm density reset

                                  4k is 4096x2160

                                  We sometimes call 3840x2160 (2160p) monitors (to be) 4k too because they share the 2160 part with actual 4k

                                  However this phones shares no resolution or indeed characteristic with (actually) the 4k resolution. Shouldn't Sony be sued for misdirecting the population. This phone 4 is not 4. It is somewhere between QHD aner 4k, halfway almost between the two...

Here I am looking on my X Performance lcd screen set to 200 nits, with 40% battery left: screen use 10%, android+UI+internet connections 40%, apps 10%. I got 4hr SoT and 1day3hr off charger.

                                        So I ll get 6 hr SoT out of my 2700 maH on this charge, 1 day12hr off charger. Just remember, X Performance got only 61 hr on battery test here.
                                        If I'd set nits to max my screen would eat about 20% tops, rest 80% pretty much goes to other andr, connect, UI and apps.
                                        And I even tweaked some UI options, so... If I turned them back on, UI would eat even more percentage.
