I know simple facts. But before you start judging you could ask your self why they created that and because they created that they nmust did proper testing and consider that technology completely safe. Nobody, no company wants to see Samsung Note 7 situation ever again.
Thus i trust them and you shuld too. Before blabbing nonsenses try it test it and if your house or bed carpet etc stays as they should be there is no needs to worry.
If one plane crashes and 400 people dies will people stop using planes for traveling long distances???
I dont think so. Same goes for train car, boat or a cell phone.
One dissaster per a long period is nothing as long as it is not constant. I.E. Happens pretty much often like Note 7 problems.

You have to ... moreIndeed 100w is too dangerous. The charger itself can give you a painful electric shock if u accidentally touch it.
Too much heat so it can even burn the battery.

You have to understand the limitations and compromises of lithium batteries. Then you will understand why this is a gimmick for people like you.
Pretty much all big players of the smartphone world can do this. There is a reason they don't and it's not the cost!
I wouldn't want to sleep next to a fast charging Xiaomi phone. I don't think you realise what 100W mean! Touch a 100W lightbulb! Energy is energy and electricity is the movement of electrons. Potential energy kinetic energy thermal energy.

When I say from scratch I'm speaking based on the fact that They built the charging tech around increasing current (one employee did this on his own for years without pay as oppo themselves didn't believe in the idea)
Plus they had to make patents for their own proprietary chargers and batteries with supervooc going as far as making a "two lane battery"
But it seems you've made up your mind and no matter what china has done nothing

Nice, but battery will be at 70-80% of original capacity after 6 months. Or maybe the battery is separated in many cells?

Any battery can last easy 3 years.
And usual life span of a battery is 2 years.
But in my store i saw some examples which lasted 12 years on a button phone like old 3310 nokia and even after 12 years of use customer claimed she charged her phone just once a day. Thats incedible.

Basically you need to haul the charger if you want to gain this benefit. Anker, is in process of making smaller charger. Like their Powerport Atom PD1. And i do not believe Xiaomi will have it any smaller. Just go to PC/ Laptop stores.. take a good look at their power bricks.. and get a good idea the weight and size you will need to carry around.
So i believe the only way to benefit this, is to put it at home, buy an extra charger at your work place.. or forget it if you are always traveling. Which defeats the purpose of fast charge.. unless you are always forgetful.. forget to charge at the last minute.. or the phone is an unoptimized crap.. and drains super fast.
