Ok so I want a Mate 30 X with:
1. P30 Pro cameras
2. Massive Nochless, holeless ~7" Oled/Amoled screen with 120Hz refresh Rate HDR 10+
3. Slider mechanism or popup camera
4. Kirin 985
5. Emui Desktop with wireless mode
6. Gaming accessories since it should be gaming related phone
7. IP68
8. Headphone jack
9. 4200 mah with 120h+ endurance rating and 100W fast charging
10. Stereo speakers loud, clear and bassy + LDAC, APTX support
11. Below 1000 euro price

Although P30 Pro is very good, i still think it would be wiser to wait for the Mate 30 Pro, cause it would likely not have compromises that the P30 Pro has, such as the 1080p display. Also, that newer Kirin chip with EUV would be a nice upgrade. Camera setup would likely be same (or very similar), but that's already one of the best. There's also the fact that it will come with Android Q by default. All those things make the Mate 30 Pro worth waiting for IMO.

Just around the time when the Note 10 will be announced.

Another thing: let's see if the next Kirin SoC has ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reading. Snapdragon 855 and Samsung's Exynos has it, there could be a patent issue.

Also, I believe Sony already has the technology for 3D facial scanning and recognition, perhaps Samsung and Huawei can get Sony to help with a facial recognition solution for Android.

2D facial recognition is gimmicky and not secure. It's time to have something that rivals Apple FaceID.

I just hope Huawei spends a bit more time to refine its software, similar to how Samsung had evolved from the terrible Touchwiz to the One UI of today. EMUI still has a lot of catching up to do. Hopefully there is improvement with EMUI 10 (Android 'Q' 10.0).

That will make their chip the first on the streets according to Huawei's defense force.

              - The Mate-series is their luxury brand to compete directly against Apple's iPhone, Google's Pixel, Samsung's Galaxy Note, and LG's V-series.
              - The P-series is their flagship brand to compete directly against Samsung's Galaxy S, LG G-series, Sony's Z-series, Lenovo's Z-series, Xiaomi's Mi-series, Meizu's 16-series and OnePlus.
              - The Huawei Honor 7-series is their budget flagship brand to compete against the Nokia 7-series, Oppo R-series, Vivo X and V-series, and Xiaomi Pocophone/BlackShark devices.

A flip-style product will get its own separate segment for Huawei, and probably for all other brands too.

Dear Gsmarena team, for the 5th time, that rumored Mate 30 pro case is just the vanilla Mate 20 case with the extra cutout being there for the rear fingerprint sensor... you can also spot the headphone jack cutout

If they do not unlock bootloader, improve disaster speakers and awful 4k video, they will not see my money again.

I personally don't think it'll be the first with EUV, as Apple does have time. Hell, even Samsung does. What I do hope for from the Mate 30 is a dual screen concept. They could be the first to do it right
