Qualcomm and Samsung won't sell 5G modems to Apple

An analyst at UBS thinks that the earliest 5G iPhone will come out in late 2021 at the earliest.

Apple doesn't want anything from Qualcomm anyways.

    Now Apple customers will be telling us how useless 5G is. When the first iPhone with 5G will be introduced, suddenly it will become a necessity for everyone.

But their hardware and features are crap and they have the guts to charge those high premiums. They should do more in other aspects of their products, not just the OS.

I just want real innovation to come out in this company like it did before. They have good OS but that's it, their features are just next to low end androids. Yes, even low-end androids have more features than an Iphone. That is the sad thing there.

              In year 2200+ all brands will use 25G but apple will have still 4G because noone wants to cooperate with them and they have noone who could make their own modems.

                Great move coz dealing with Devils always end up in court room..

                  So much about 5G... And here I am still using 3G... XD~
                  iPhones might be late in 5G race. But when they do arrive, they arrive at the time where 5G became mainstream data plans.

                              Now apple can squeeze own wallets. Everybody will have a 5G phone but apple will be late to the party with their Mediatek 5G phone by 2021. How remarkable that sounds.

                                Playing with Apple when you know for sure that they are working to make their own modems is a dead end game!! Samsung and QC would bet on some other OEM for longer play!! Apple will have to fork out their margins to attract them for short term negotiations!! Last few iterations and likely the next few iterations, iPhones to settle with average modems and WiFi speeds.....get ready for $1200-$2200 mobiles with dented network components!!

                                        Apple is too big and too rich to not find its own 5G modems. Plus carriers are greatly influenced by Apples iPhone dominance. With or without Samsung and Qualcomm Apple will be perfectly fine.
