As it happens, a friend of mine having nokia 7 plus and Im using mate 20 pro. Im now in march security patch while his nokia still sits at february, and its android one.

If Huawei was being honest, I would not say their products are worthless. But they admit they are when they lie. That's my point.

So they really are not worthless. Im not really convincing you or such, Im just trying to make a point because it quite strange to directly judge a product because of its ads. Tell me, if a certain brand of food is deceptively marketed, would that make the food any worthless? I think not. Would any phone out there without active ads worthless? Any phone has some worth, even my nokia 3310 has some worth left in its soul.

And they do make nonsensical decisions like locking the Bootloader. That means you can't do what you want on your phone you paid. That's messed up. Samsung isn't perfect either, the S8 and S10 prevent Swift/Substratum themes on Pie! Not on the S9 though, strange. I find this also horrible and made sure to complain.

Sony ruined their design, HTC's pretty much dead, I don't subscribe to buying overseas phones because the warranty is important, along with IMS features, Nokia's gone notchy, LG too and their updates are much worse than Samsung (LG G5 never got an update since Oreo last summer. Not even a bugfix or a security patch, G6 and G7 still stuck on Oreo), Google's an Apple wannabe that do horrible products (the Pixel 3XL... the top rounded corners do not match the bottom!!! Then there's that Wireless Charging DRM nonsense), Blackberry's crazy expensive... My choices are limited. I'm pretty much forced to enjoy Samsung's products. That doesn't make me a fanboy however.

Look, u have great experience with Samsung, i have great experience with Huawei. But that doesnt make u can give wrong perception about it. I'll never badmouthing Samsung, just give a clear explanation perception about it.

You can't advertise a waterproof phone that won't survive being rinsed in the sink. So by logic, and by law, their phones are worth as much as their ads.
